thanks for the great reaction. this was the last show with miho. then followed a two years hiatus. in march 2023 they did the first show after that with new bassplayer fami. "the hammer of wrath" from that show is on their channel. and in three weeks they will release a DVD/bluray/CD from that show. lovebites 2.0.

You will find that most all the Japanese female drummers will both inspire you and crush your soul at the same time! You want to practice harder to be better, but you know no matter how hard you practice there is little chance that most humans will never be that good. Wave Potter has been playing drums for 27 years and has been inspired mainly by YOYOKA, the 13 y.o. drummer I told you about. She visited his house and he got to play with her on stage and they jammed an improv drum duo at his house. She tuned his drums better than they had ever been tuned before.She was TEACHING drum lessons at Age 6. Here is one of her iconic course at age 8. 422K views...LOL He has improved immensely in the two years he has been following her and the other BandMaid, Lovebites, etc. drummers, and has said he still can't believe what a huge impact she has had on his life! You understand. Fast, tight, melodic, yet serene (vocalist) and effortless (everyone else). You won’t find a better band no matter how many others you react to. They play heavy metal, but not all of it is thrashy or speed metal. But *ALL* of it, all 60 songs, are of this quality, studio or live, and if live, every performance.

Thanks for the great reaction Eric! That's Miho on bass. No one is trying to compare the two but Fami is equally as good and a great fit for the band. She is well featured in their release of "Judgement Day" with an epic intro. One of my fav Lovebites songs. Will rip your face off. OK most of their songs do that, but you know what I mean...LOL Midori and Miyako have that call and response guitar battle act in almost all their songs, maybe all of them. Actually they should have made it easier on everyone and just named this song "Set The Stage On Fire"! Haruna is an absolute beast machine on the drums, never looks like she's playing hard, nickname is "The Little Big Engine".

Your comment on Midori and Miyako's " call and response battle act" is a tad OTT! Seriously. However, trade-off is lot better. Where is the battle? Tell me? I don't see it. Maybe I dont have an over reactive imagination like most people. You are not the first to say this and not the last! For me, I see two friends doing what they do best on stage and in the practice studio, trading solos!!

@@noelle3551 this is so true they actually play off each other and read each other very well as if one knows what the other is thinking and going to do. So, because of this it makes them quite unique and separates them from many bands that only have one lead and the other a rhythm

@@DrumAttic Exactly! I really don't even listen to anything other than all female Japanese bands now. They have everything I like. There are many like this, where every single member carries their weight at the highest level. The main ones you want to delve into, if you are interested are BandMaid, Lovebites, BabyMetal, but there are many more. These are just the top 3. If it's all female and Japanese, and recommended by a sub, you generally won't be disappointed! They all have very loyal fan bases that are generally very helpful and friendly.

Miho was not replaced, she left the band in august 2021 for her own personal reasons. The other members wanted to convince her to stay! After that the band stopped their activities for a while. But in march 2022 they announced an international audition which ended with revealing Fami as their new bass player in october 2022. There are videos on LOVEBITES YT channel for both, the auditions and welcoming Fami as their new bass player ❤

The 4' 9" dynamo, Haruna on drums is a beast. There are MMA fighters who wish they hit as fast and as hard as she does and she does it for an entire set!!!! The M&M show as always is an amazing experience. While polar opposites they blend together perfectly and no duo harmonizes in perfect sync LIVE like these 2 ladies. Miho on bass was the founder of this insane group and although gone for personal reasons, Fami the new bassist proves the talent pool in Japan is just insane. LIVE these ladies are a Bucket List item for any true music fan to experience.

Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。 Haruna's drumming is super. I read an article about her in a Japanese magazine "Headbang" (vol.29 published in April 2021 [page 124]). Haruna answered in an interview that her muscle mass was equivalent to that of Japanese male. No! She must have much bigger muscle, heart and passion in her dainty body frame.

I highly recommend checking out Aldious. They are the original all Female Japanese metal bands started in 2008, of the new Era. Show Ya was all Female back in the 1980s. Aldious's currently drummer is Marina Bozzio, daughter of American drummer Terry Bozzio. She uses the same shallow Tom's as well. Recommend checking out Aldious Dominator live Radiant A O East.

@@rainerzufall42 Sorry . 'Awake Again - Live from Abyss' took place on October 25, 2020. After this studio gig, LOVEBITES played at the Nagoya and Yokohama concert halls. Concerts in Nagoya (March 12, 2021), Yokohama (March 13, 2021), Tokyo (March 26, 2021), Osaka (April 2, 2021) were held as part of the 'Ride For Vengeance Tour 2021', at the height of the second wave of Covid-19 in Japan. Therefore, the Tour was limited to concerts in only 4 cities. And the dates of this Tour have been postponed several times. Due to the rescheduled dates, many people often mistakenly refer to the Tokyo (March 26, 2021) concert as Miho's last concert.
