that song is one of the songs written by miyako for EP "glory, glory, to the world" (released in march 2021). it wasn't included in "glory, glory, to the world", but this time, miyako recomposed parts other than the chorus. miyako said she thought the song would be lead song for album "judgment day".

SSS - best song by Lovebites. Power metal meets thrash metal in the best way. Asami killed it on vocals. Loved Fami's bass part and Haruna's too. More of that please.

Thanks for the reaction. Soldier Stands Solitarily (lyrics - Asami / music - Miyako). Miyako is the band's main composer. She wrote about 50% of all LOVEBITES music.

Please keep up the good work LOVEBITES. 【The following is from an interview with LOVEBITES for a magazine project】 [Miyako(G Key and Piano Black hair)] As for "Soldier Stands Solitarily", I had a demo of it when I was working on the "Glory, Glory, to the World" EP (2021). It had a completely different shape than this one, except for the chorus. The chorus was punchy and had a good melody, so I wasn't satisfied with it as it was. This time, I restructured it and reincarnated it. In Miyako's mind, she thought the BPM was too fast, so Miyako said in her mind to Haruna(Dr), "I'm sorry," "If you lower this BPM, it will feel different!" she said. So in Miyako's mind, Miyako said, "Haruna can play at this BPM," and"If you don't play like this, it won't sound cool!" With that in mind, Miyako entered the bass line into the software. Japanese women and children hold up the index fingers of both hands and place them on either side of their head in a "demon" or "ogre" pose, making a "I'm so angry!" and make a kawaii expression. "Demon" or "ogre" is the Japanese word for "oni".("oni"="鬼"👹). At an album presentation at her home, Miyako said, "Asami & Haruna, I'm sorry! and wrote it down and projected it on the screen. The belt Miyako requested for Asami was too high and the BPM Miyako requested for Haruna was too fast, so I think Miyako lovingly apologized to Asami and Haruna with a handwritten message panel on the screen.

I loved their live stream at the release of the album. They also did a live stream of them doing a signing session and their interactions were a scream. They are so entertaining to watch even when they're not performing. And SSS is awesome.

They really interact with their fans, and are always so much fun. That Asami produces such volume from such a tiny frame is amazing. What is even more amazing is that it is still such a tiny frame. I’ve never seen anyone with an appetite like Asami’s. She’s always eating. This stream was about one hour 45 minutes, with a 45 minute Q&A followed by the whole album. Approximately every 10 minutes Asami got up, exited shot, then returned with food. Cake, desert, ice cream….and on social media yesterday she said that eating pancakes as a lunch dessert was going to be enough for the day…until she decided it made her want to eat something spicy. Eating made her hungry!

This was part of the "Premiere Listening Session JUDGEMENT DAY-EVE"" livestream that they did on Feb 21, 2023 to celebrate the release of their new album "JUDGEMENT DAY". The whole livestream lasted 1 and half hour and I watched the whole thing! It was really great to watch them showing the signs and having fun!!! Haruna with the little sign “Fast!” …… and she went actually faster than usual!!!

Great description of Miyako, I'm completly with you, here. In 5 decades of my life, in which I'm consciously listening to music, I always was impressed the most by artists, who went out and just performed. 100% invested in their art, without running into danger of distracting from it by extensive gymnastics - anybody seen Lemmy Kilmister doing back-flips on stage? Btw, Miyako is so good in making her guitar smile or weep, how much better can an artist transmit emotions from the stage to the audience? A smile gets lost under flickering lights, the sound in your ear accompanies you home.

Miyako has traditionally written about 40% of their songs,. Miho wrote about 15-20%, and Mao Yamamoto, keyboardist and composer for his band, Lightbringer, and a few other bands, has written about 40% (6 of the 10 songs on Judgement Day - Miyako wrote the rest). Mao also writes for one of THE best Metal bands in Japan - *Unlucky Morpheus* (you haven't gotten to them yet). Two guitarists as good as Miyako and Midori, a singer as powerful as Asami, a drummer who plays faster than Haruna, and a Violinist that shreds as hard as the guitar players.. On the night before the release of this album, they did a free livestream on KZbin in which they played the entire album. They opened with the music video of "Judgement Day" and ended with the premier of the music video for "Stand and Deliver." This video is part of that livestream. Not many bands would do this. They would say, "If you want to hear our music, then buy it. You get nothing for free." To me, that shows how much they love and appreciate their devoted followers. To see them in this setting, you could imagine them being the cute little girl next door, but when they walk out on stage they transform into the "Metal Goddesses!" Btw... I'm with you - Miyako is also my favorite. I don't think I've ever seen a more amazing musician. She's not only a virtuoso on piano and guitar, she also plays bass and drums, composes, and arranges. If you want to hear one of songs which shows her classical influence, listen to "Dystopia Symphony." There's no music video or live performance though. This is her tribute to Beethoven. It's even written in the style of a Beethoven Sonata - opening, three movements, and coda (ending). Some of it is almost note for note from the 3rd movement of Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata." Only someone who completely knows Beethoven's work, and someone who has an insane grasp of music theory could have written that song. I heard someone say, "We're lucky to be living in the time of Miyako." Can't disagree! Peace!

Best song on the new album I think. I love this one and Stand and Deliver. Asami was on fire in this one. They all were. Asami hit some really high, powerful notes, Haruna killing it on the drums, some great bass work and those solos. Wow as always. Really fun video format too!

This album is LoveBites all out come back album after long hiatus for finding Miho replacement n for Asami n Miyako maternity leave. Perhaps Miyako wrote this song during her pregnancy period 😂. The drum parts,Haruna looks faster than Usain Bolt.
