They are that great every song live and their studio recordings are just as good - but their live is just next level, playing at the speed they do. They are the top metal band for me, the complete band and they can play it all - power, thrash, speed, prog, and ballad here or there. Just perfection in my eyes! I'm an American metalhead and haven't been this excited by a band since early 80s Metallica and Maiden. I own Lovebites' entire discography and it's worth every penny! Recommend Holy War live 2020 next, on their YT channel.🤘

Creo que una de las riquezas de este grupo es la cantidad de distintas influencias musicales que sus distintos integrantes: soul, blues, rock, heavy clásico, progresivo, speed metal, música clásica, etc… Eso siempre va a enriquecer su música. Veo que no hay lucha de egos entre ellas y se dan su espacio tanto a la hora de entrelazar melodías como para cada de una de ellas pueda brillar. Agradezco mucho su reacción a esta increíble banda de heavy metal llamada Lovebites (una sola palabra) porque ellas merecen un mayor reconocimiento. Estas chicas japonesas son extremadamente talentosas, creativas, dominan sus instrumentos a la perfección, además de ser unos músicos versátiles y muy profesionales. Sus actuaciones en vivo (en directo, como dicen ustedes) son realmente extraordinarias. Sus principales influencias son Metallica, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Slayer, Deep Purple, Helloween, Megadeth, Dragonforce, Pantera, Yngwie Malmsteen, Dokken, Angra, Gary Moore, etc., pero ellas han ido desarrollando un estilo muy propio y único. Esos solos de guitarra de Midori y Miyako ya son legendarios, en tan solo un poco menos de 8 años. Asami cantaba música de R&B, soul y jazz antes de integrarse a la banda; no tiene estudios de ópera, su voz es simplemente limpia. Miyako (guitarrista de pelo negro) también es una pianista clásica a nivel de concierto, desde los 3 años. En una ocasión, Miho (exbajista y fundadora de la banda) dijo que ellas querían tocar tan pesado como los hombres pero conservando su feminidad. Hay algunos que dicen que ellas están rompiendo los estereotipos en la escena metalera. Si pensabas que para tocar heavy metal necesitas ser hombre, vestir de negro, con cadenas, piercing, tatuajes, botas negras, consumir drogas y tomar mucho alcohol, etc., bueno, pues estabas muy equivocado. Recomiendo las siguientes “rolas” (como decimos en México): “Set the world on fire”, “Judgement day”, “The hammer of wrath”, “MDO”, “We are the resurrection” ( todas en vivo y disponibles en su canal oficial de KZbin. En este año hicieron su tour por Japón, Asia, Europa (incluyendo España) y, por por primera vez, los USA. En 2018-2019 hicieron tour en Europa, teniendo mucho éxito en Wacken Open Air, Alemania, 2018. También hicieron un tour por Inglaterra en 2019, abriendo para Dragonforce. Por cierto, hay algunos que dicen que el rock no está muerto, sino que simplemente se fue a vivir a Japón. Asami era cantante de soul y de R&B, toca piano y estudió ballet. Fami extraordinaria bajista, coros, miren su video alien alien. Haruna la baterista es un metrónomo humano, y parece que no se cansara de tocar a esa velocidad. Midori, la rubia, es velocidad, precisión, toca también guitarra clásica, estudios de piano, coros. Miyako, guitarra, concertista de piano, teclado. Escojan cualquier tema en vivo, y se darán cuenta que son extraordinarias, lo mejor que le ha pasado al metal en los últimos 30 años. Asami se ve que tiene una gran técnica vocal que le permite cantar aparentemente sin esfuerzo a ese nivel de exigencia y además es muy versátil. De Fami me impresiona tu técnica impecable a la vez que se la ve disfrutando y feliz. Veremos sin duda ese video de Alien alien para ver sus origenes. Me encanta la energía de Midori, gran técnica tanto de sweep picking, ligados y tapping. Miyako se la ve más concentrada y centrada en cada momento de la canción , con una gran técnica también, sobre todo de tapping. Veo influencias de Maiden y algún toque clásico veo. Ya comentaremos con forme veamos más canciones. Aun es muy pronto. Nemophila y Maximun the hormone los vas a ver muy pronto en el canal, me apunto tus recomendaciones. Comenzaron bien el canal y dejaron eso si la vara quizas demasiado alta. Ahora van a tener problemas para encontrar algo que le haga el peso a Lovebites... Esta es la cancion mas rapida de la banda, pero no la mas heavy. Pero Lovebites no se estanca en un solo genero, de hecho sus mejores temas son "baladas progresivas". Sus DVD's en directo son de 2h. Y sí. TOCAN así en directo. Os lo confirmo de primera mano. Pero esta producción de este video solo la muestran en Japón. Respecto a la bajista.. os recomiendo ver algún video de su propio canal para ver el nivel del que hablamos. Sí, tiene su propio modelo de bajo.. Y en la banda, también la guitarrista morena (MIYAKO) tiene su propio modelo de flying V de Dean. Hay muchas otras bandas que he escuchado últimamente.. (no solo japonesas) Mis recomendaciones: - NEMOPHILA (tocan de todo y todo bien.. pero no solo eso, en su canal encontrareis coves de un monton de bandas conocidas) - UNLUCKY MORPEUS (heavy y violin. Violin y Heavy) - ASTERISM (trio. Mayormente musica instrumental. Bajista de 7 cuerdas.. y las usa) - HANABIE (no soy de los gruñidos, pero desconozco vuestros gustos) - AD INFINITUM (metal sinfonico con la voz de Melissa Bony) - UNLEASH the ARCHERS (Power metal canadiense) - EVILE (trash metal inglés) - ALIEN WEAPONRY (trash metal maorí) - LUTHARO (metal de USA) Sabaton, Avatar, Grand Magus .. suecos. Nightwish, Epica, Kalidia, Elysion.. Metal sinfonico Escucho muchas bandas.. y siempre me gusta escuchar algo bueno y nuevo, así que, si quieres recomendaciones, avisa. Veo que tenemos la misma edad aproximadamente jejeje. La música de los ochenta era increíble y han sentado muy buena base para años posteriores. Sin duda atenderemos a tus peticiones y es curioso porque verás muy pronto a Nemophila en el canal y los demás los tengo en cuenta por supuesto. Estoy deseando tener la oportunidad de verlas en directo alguna vez. @@RockandReactions Muchas bandas japonesas no se estancan en un estilo si no que se mueven entre varios que se adapten a ellas. Lovebites se mueve entre el heavy metal de los 70, el NWOBHM (Iron Maiden , Judas Priest) pasando por el thrash de los 80 (Metallica, Flotsam & jetsam, Slayer, Testament) el heavy de gomina de principios de los 90 (Motley Grue), pasando por el Power Metal de Helloween. (tienen una cover de Eagles Fly free que os volverá locos) . pero con muchas influencias de otros guitarristas como Kiko Loureiro o Gary Moore)

Maybe you've noticed the white grand piano on the side of the dark haired guitarist who is the main composer? True, I'm really looking forward to seeing Miyako play the piano as many of you can no longer tell. Presumably she has had classical training, probably since she was a child. I've always thought that melodically the piano has a lot to contribute to a rock band as long as it's done in the right way. Excelente reacción!, no llevan mentira en decir que les recuerda a Dragón Force y demás influencias que han citado, pues ambas guitarristas tambien vienen influenciadas de personajes como Alexi Laiho, Dimebag, George Lynch, Kirk, Bryan May, Jennifer Batten, etc. En cuanto a la cantante Asami, viene de un mundo de blues y pop y lo único de que conocía de metal era a Judas Priest, que por cierto tienen un cover de Painkiller que deberían escuchar. Mis recomendaciones son: - Set The World on Fire Live from "Ride For Vengeance Tour 2021. - Thunder Vengeance Live at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo 2020. - A Frozen Serenade 2021 LIVE in Tokyo. - Swan Song [+Chopin Intro] Five of a Kind del 2020 ------ asegúrense de escoger la versión del 2020, porque en esta verán la destreza de la guitarrista Miyako para tocar el piano. Herman said he wants DRAGONFORCE to open for LOVEBITES. ASAMI was a Soul and R&B singer who didn’t listen to Metal before joining LOVEBITES. Try ALL of the other live videos; you will hear different sounds and styles, and none of them dissapoint. Maybe start with SET THE WORLD ON FIRE and BREAK THE WALL (with MIHO ROSANNA on bass). Then EDGE OF THE WORLD, for something quite different. Watch also FAMI’s cover of ALIEN, ALIEN. It’s totally different than what you heard here.

bienvenidos al mundo de lovebites si seguis con ellas vais a alucinar yo desde que las escuche no paro de oirlas para mi es una mezcla de judas,maiden,helloween y su toque maravilloso creo que no tienen genero power,trhas ,heavy yo no las puedo calificar en un genero yo me fuy desde barelona a Belgica solo para verlas en directo en junio de este año y os dire una cosa he estado en innumerables conciertos soy de barcelina y no me he perdido ningun rock fest ademas de los grupos que pasan por barcelona con eso ya os imaginais en los directos que he estado y para mi como el directo en Belgica de estas chicas ninguno fue memorable yo estoy enamorado de Midori que es la guitarrista rubio la que esta en la derecha aunque me gustan todas como comentais Midori es mas sredeer y Miyacao mas clasica ella comenzo a tocar el piano con 3 años y comenzo a tocar la guitarra con 18 bueno no os adelanto lo que hace con el piano ya lo descubrireis vosotros mismos la cantante Asami antes cantaba rock&blus una maravilla y un gran carisma que decir de haruna a la bateria the litte machine le llaman y la bajsta anterior Miho era buenisima tambien yo vivi la epoca en la que se fue y la verdad esque fue una pena y una incertidumbre pensaba que lovebites desaparecia pero por suerte vino Fami que es la ostia tiene un carisma expectacular ademas de muy buena tocando bueno en fin creo que ya os dareis cuentas si seguis escuchando a lovebites y la manada de lobos como se hacen llamar sus seguidores inundaran vuestro canal a por cierto ademas del imperium tambien tocaron en el resurrection de galicia y en el hellfest de francia y en 2019 creo en el dowload de madris y en 2018 en el waken

Wow, me ha encantado toda la información que me has dado. Ojalá las pueda ver en directo también. Fíjate que casi llego a ir este año al Rock Imperium y por lo visto Lovebites actuaron allí, qué pena. Tomo nota de todo lo que me has escrito. Todavía no tengo una componente favorito de la banda, aunque yo, como toco el bajo, inevitablemente me fijé mucho en la actuación y habilidad de Fami. @@davidansorena que envidia sana me estás dando David. Imagino que al ser un festival y no ser cabeza de cartel les limitaron el tiempo. Los conciertos en salas pequeñas y bien acondicionadas suelen ser geniales. Me acuerdo de ver en la sala Custom de Sevilla a artistas como Steve Vai, Satriani y The Aristrocrats. Fue algo increíble. Estoy de acuerdo con lo que dices, todas tocan genial. Es raro ver a un grupo tan compensado en cuanto a talento. Las 5 son espectaculares. Están al nivel de cualquier banda top a nivel mundial.

Nombre dragon force no les tiene nada a Lovebites, dragon force siempre tocan las misas solo y riffs en sus canciones y esta muy aborrido y Lovebites so las rienas de metal ahorita. cuando tengan un tiempo de escucharlas en vivo haganlo son muy hermosas verlas en persona te lo juro son bien podersosas.

No son muy conocidas, sobre todo fuera de Japón, y en Japón sólo a los aficionados al metal. Todo el ruido que hay sobre ellas en KZbin lo hacemos nosotros, los fans. Su management es bastante activo en Japón, pero muy conservador cuando se trata de salir al extranjero; la gira europea y estadounidense que hicieron este año fue una gran excepción. En cuanto a Famis Bass, parece que los músicos japoneses reciben bastante apoyo de las marcas que promocionan. Midori y Miyako tienen sus propias púas especiales, Midori recibió una guitarra «Lovebites» de ESP, etc.

Es difícil abrirse camino a nivel internacional, pero bueno, lo más importante es que el nivel de banda top la tienen. Ahora necesitan tener suerte con las giras internacionales y actuar en festivales potentes que les den más proyección , o tal vez encontrar el Manager adecuado jejeje quien sabe. He visto el modelo signature de Fami y aunque es bonito, los bajos sin pala me sigues resultando raros jejeje. Yo también soy bajista y tengo un Marcus Miller v5 de 5 cuerdas en color madera natural.
