This song was originally written with the idea of having the audience join in the chorus once the restrictions imposed by COVID were lifted and masks were no longer needed. Haruna, drums aka "little big engine", Asami, vocals, aka "the voice", Miyako, lead guitar (dark hair), aka "the golden touch", Midori, lead guitar, aka "crazy shredder", Fami, bass, aka "shining fingers", formed in 2016 by former Destrose members Miho and Haruna. Miho the former bassist left in 2021, Between April 2 and May 24, 2022, Lovebites accepted auditions for a new bass player. Applicants had to create their own bassline to a track the band created for the occasion and submit a video of them performing it. On October 21, Lovebites revealed 20-year-old Fami as their new bassist via a full-band performance video on KZbin. An active musician since high school, Fami has produced her own solo album and has nearly 650,000 subscribers on her own KZbin channel.

Hammer of Wrath form Knocken at Heavens Gate is the 1st song of the show and Fami, the new bass player, is given much love from the band throughout the song. 1st song in almost two years. Fami's first concert and first song with the band Just pure enjoyment.

This performance pounds your skull in! Interesting note about this that I did not notice the first time I saw this: at 2:03 you can see a stagehand plugging in Midori's guitar. I think this is why you don't see the camera on Midori for her opening squeals, I think they added that audio part from their other performance in post. 🤘🐺

After three years of listening to them and nothing else but the odd reaction to my favourites from yesteryear, I now have a playlist that comprises entirely of LOVEBITES. It never gets tiring, it never gets stale and that’s mainly because every time you hear a track you think “how the f**k can the same band play such a variety of songs within a particular genre and make them all different and would all individually qualify as best song on any other album by any other band”. People new to LOVEBITES must think that people like me are just hyping them up. Far from it…I can’t hype them up enough!.

They are such good musicians! ❤ But I wish they would play with dynamics a little more. They are always at 100% - but that way the special parts are the normal level and you get used to it. So it’s harder to be wowed by their awesomeness. (And they are awesome…😊) Maybe it’s just me. 😅

They are still great. ❤️ It’s just something I would think would benefit them, and would make me want to listen a little bit more. 😅 And artists always try new things.
