The album itself “Judgement Day” when released Feb 23,2023 for nearly 2 weeks was the number one selling album on iTunes stores in over 12 countries reaching the #4 spot on japans Billboard music charts and songs like “Dissonance” released prior to the full album beat out songs on iTunes like Metallica’s “Lux Aterna” and Babymetal’s “Devine Attack”. But I have to say this whole album is definitely worth the full listen as it’s a solid album from start to finish. Songs to listen to (imo and not including the videos you have reacted to) We are the Resurrection, My Orion, Dissonance and Soldier Stands Solidarity… but you can’t go wrong with the whole album

Miyako does play to drums, plus the bass. She has a bass guitar in her home studio, to assist her composing. By The Way, in a music store in Japan there is a guitar for sale that Midori built!! She went to a vocational school that teaches the craft of building guitars.

Keep LOVEBITES in your future. 【From an interview with Asami(Vo) and Fami(Ba) for a magazine project in Japan】 When Covid19 subsided and the audience was able to speak up, Asami thought it would be nice to have a song that everyone could sing, both on stage and in the audience. Asami wanted to use the sound of "river" in the lyrics, but thought it would be strange to use "river" as the chorus. Asami found "deliver" and thought it would be cool if everyone shouted it out instead of just telling what the word means. For many Japanese, pronouncing and hearing the English "r" and "l" is difficult. From there, Asami arrived at "stand and deliver. "Stand and deliver" is a pirate term that apparently means "Leave all your money!" Asami thought that if he wrote the lyrics as they were, it would be a song about a "pirate king. Asami wanted to avoid that. Asami learned that "deliver" can also mean "to carry out" or "to be free" in addition to "to deliver. Asami uses "Stand and deliver" with the following interpretation and meaning. Stand up and be free! Rise up and be free! Arise and be free! Let's get up and be free! From there, Asami put the following thoughts into the lyrics. Nothing satisfies me. It's boring to be like this every day! Let's go more bouncy! Let's be bold and do something different! Let's break out of our shell! P.S. The mic stand setting that Miyako(G-Piano-Black hair) used was too high for Asami(Vo). Haruna(Dr) imitated the guitar work of Miyako & Midori's solo performance of "Signs of Deliverence" at the live concert. Haruna may have been watching from the drum position and thought it was cool. Asami & Haruna is cute.

In an interview for a magazine project featuring LOVEBITES (2023), LOVEBITES producer Mr. Sugiyama said that several bands have offered to accompany the band on tour, and he is considering which one to accept.

This is one of four Miyako compositions on this album, and they are all so different it's insane. The entire album is a freaking statement. Thanks for checking this out.

My big problem around Lovebites is there are too many recommendable songs with very different styles. Judgement Day, Break the Wall, Swan Song, Wind of Transylvania (Anime song, but a awesome proggy metal), Frozen Serenade, etc. All these 5 females are real prodigies and surprisingly still in the process of evolution at this high level! Ah, Miyako, the long hair lead guitarist, has recently released a piano cover of 'Eagle Fly Free' of Halloween, and that sounds like a full swing classic piano of Chopin or Beethoven revived in the 21st century. We should also focus on the bassist Fami’s play under the guitar soles. She is 21 years old! Many of their concert versions are breath taking and flawless! ps Yes, they are big fans of Judas Priest!... I will continue to check your great reactions.

This song, in my opinion, highlights to perfection how Lovebites can take all their influences (i.e. Motorhead with the opening bass), and modernize it to sound fresh, and to my ears better. Great reaction

My very first though on this song was that it reminded me of Motorhead. But then when I watched the part of the video where they are switching instruments (speaking which, to answer your question, drummer Haruna was playing Fami's bass) and noticed Asami's pose with the upraised mic, it was like she was channeling Lemmy, making me think this might have been an intentional nod to Motorhead! As for touring, Lovebites has never been to the US, but Miyako and Midori have both appeared at NAMM (Anaheim, CA) as featured artists, and Asami lived in Cali for a time while she was studying dance.

They came back for their day of judgment to show the world they're the real deal, Asami's own interpretation of the album, and they Stood, delivered and shot down any doubts that anybody had, as if they needed to. They are one of the best, if not the best, bands out there today, and IMO, are good enough to be seen as one of the greats, legends in the making and a band to inspire us all.🤘🎸🎤🎹🥁🐺

That (relatively) new album "Judgement Day" seems to be a real killer. Everything I've heard gets better and better. Especially the four songs written or co-written by Miyako (listened to three of the four songs). Happy to explore the rest...

Actually, most of you have a short history of familiarity with "goddesses". It's all the more funny, because I've known about their existence since 2017, but back then, they were an uninteresting, mediocre band "one of many". But then cultists appeared and started poisoning other fans' lives with their arrogance. But that's not what this conversation is about. Bo Bo, you're not good at provocation, are you?
