I knew you would love this band. I am so glad you have devoted more time to them. These ladies are the best in their genre. Blazing guitar so.os as good as any in history, soaring and powerful vocals, a break neck speed drummer, and now a new phenom on bass. They will resume their conquest of the world as soon as they can get back to touring overseas.

Yep, 2nd single from the new album, which just came out. Miyako and Midori are 2 of the best (IMO) shredders today. Older stuff will have original bassist and band co-founder Miho( She left in 2021) . Their live videos are awesome too. Try 'Holy War' from Zepp Diver City 2020.

Great rating and Maiden is an absolute compliment. One of their influences of course. I hear more Motorhead in this song myself but all good. Please continue to support LOVEBITES. 【From an interview with Asami(Vo) and Fami(Ba) for a magazine project in Japan】 When Covid19 subsided and the audience was able to speak up, Asami thought it would be nice to have a song that everyone could sing, both on stage and in the audience. Asami wanted to use the sound of "river" in the lyrics, but thought it would be strange to use "river" as the chorus. Asami found "deliver" and thought it would be cool if everyone shouted it out instead of just telling what the word means. For many Japanese, pronouncing and hearing the English "r" and "l" is difficult. From there, Asami arrived at "stand and deliver. "Stand and deliver" is a pirate term that apparently means "Leave all your money!" Asami thought that if he wrote the lyrics as they were, it would be a song about a "pirate king. Asami wanted to avoid that. Asami learned that "deliver" can also mean "to carry out" or "to be free" in addition to "to deliver. Asami uses "Stand and deliver" with the following interpretation and meaning. Stand up and be free! Rise up and be free! Arise and be free! Let's get up and be free! From there, Asami put the following thoughts into the lyrics. Nothing satisfies me. It's boring to be like this every day! Let's go more bouncy! Let's be bold and do something different! Let's break out of our shell! P.S. The mic stand setting that Miyako(G-Piano-Black hair) used was too high for Asami(Vo).

I love the bass intro to this as well as the ladies dressed down and having fun and of course their guitar solos. One of the few songs I know they are all singing in harmony. This one for me gets an 8.5/10. I'd strongly recommend the greatest song on their new album - Soldier Stands Solitary (it gets a 10, which I rarely give)

I even tried to get T just last night to do SSS vs. Metallica's new lame song. Don't get why he wouldn't want to do LB period if he likes metal. Regardless if someone pays for it or not, great metal is great metal.

I'm really impressed with Lovesbites new album. All songs are either good or very good and 3 are in the great category for me.

If you want to check out some of their older stuff, a great concert intro is Thunder Vengeance. It is the first song I heard and was hooked right away. If you want to see them having some fun on stage, Raise some Hell, which Stand and Deliver reminds me of. But thanks for your reactions.

Lovebites started off as a band that wanted to pay tribute to 1980's metal bands, so saying they remind you a bit of Iron Maiden, is not wrong, because that was the type of sound they were going for. No problem with the Maiden comparison. They openly cite Maiden, Priest, Purple, Sabbath, Metallica, Helloween, Dragonforce and the other classic metal bands as influences.
