Yes, they are astounding! Love them! When you were saying about the bass (Miho) and guitarist stage right (Midori) interacting during stage left guitarist (Miyako) solo, I think if you are in the crowd your attention can be on stage left (Miyako) and still see them interacting on stage right. You are right on about the guitarists style difference and that is what makes them the perfect pair. Thank you for reacting to this video.

Although live, is better with Lovebites, for a change have a look at one of their recent music videos. Lovebites, were asked to write a song for a anime series called Vlad Love. Although I am not a fan of anime, the footage of Lovebites, playing mixed with clips from the anime series, is first class in my view. You might like this story about the bassist's showmanship. When they were playing at a club in Germany, the bassist took a sip on beer instead of water between songs. German audience liked that and the girls had some chat with the audience about beer. The audience were happy. You can find that video clip in youtube but I don't remember the title of the clip.

9.4! Whoa David, you really liked this one! If Asami,( vocalist) is the stage general, then Midori (guitarist stage right and Miho ( bassist) are her lieutenants ! They keep the crowd engaged. Haruna (drummer) is out energizing the Energizer bunny, does that double kick ever stop? I'd hate for her to decide to kick me with those legs!. they must be SOLID as a rock! Myako (guitarist stage left) is starting to be a bit more animated as this show progress's but she is still the anchor of sanity keeping her band mates in check, wait until you review We The United! This is later in this concert and, lemme tell ya, I'd be ready for a long nap at this point! Thanks for another great reaction.

Oh yes, this was the correct version! What can i even say, another fantastic performance, yet again the ladies deliver! Haruna as always such good playing on those drums! Thrash metal, Power Metal, Heay Metal, Hard Rock, you name it she can do it all flawlessly. Midori taking over the stage like you said during her solo, Miho also coming up on the catwalk during her run, she is the boss afterall! The whole band is so on top of their game it's incredible! That half time feel breakdown is so good! 9.4 is a great score once again, the ladies always manage to make David's face full red! 😁 Maybe "Break the Wall" or "We the United" next? Both Live! A couple of months ago I stumbled upon your channel, while searching Lovebites reactions, and watched one of your video's for the first time. I was put off then because of your strong emphasis on lack of stage presence, especially Miyako. While I agreed to an extent, i thought you were just bashing the girl. I was so put off I didn't even realise you actually gave the song a nice total score and never bothered to watch your stuff again. I forgot about it until today, when i Saw this video. I liked the review so much that I searched for other reactions and thus found the video I talked about earlier. I watched all of your Lovebites reactions back to back and now understand a lot better where you are coming from. Being a musician yourself. I like your style, its almost one of a kind. You dont see it that often and when they do, it isnt as animated or interesting. Nobody wants a 30 min snoozefest. When I saw your video on the future of your channel, it made me want to write you this comment. Just to say you are doing a great job, without just giving a hollow thumbs up. So you can see that a first impression is not the end of it: I subscribed to your channel and plan to watch other video's, even if it isnt the band I came here for. Just to see you work your magic on other stuff. Ill end my post commenting on this particular video and song. Very cool you had so much fun with it, I also like Hammer of Wrath. I'm getting "high" everytime I listen to and watch that epic performance ... Those songs are like drugs ... but in a good way!!! When they entered that studio ... "The Awakening" was playing ... then grabbing their instruments, no other bullshit, and just *BOOM'* ... "The Hammer of Wrath" was coming down with full force ... and I was blown away for the next hour!!!! I like how you explain what you like and or dislike in a performance. I was thinking 9.5 so I got no problem with a 9.4 score. I don't think there is a song these ladies have that in a live performance that should score under a 9. They have great interaction and showmanship. I know you tend to not like how little Miyako (guitarist on stage right) does but the wolfpack all know she is a introvert and she seems to do more in smaller venues. I happen to like her little acts that a lot of people over look. In this song she head bangs more than most.

So much good stuff.....I need a breather...Yeah the things we hear all the time from a reactor who actually know everything this band is doing on stage during a performance. We knew that Miho/bass here would blow you away with her small Shine Time and the bass moves on stage, she is truly a great bass player who is underrated as like most bass players she get so little time to Shine especially in Lovebites where her and Haruna/drums carry the band together and yet rarely get any time to shine and when they do is is brief and often together. This song is NASTY and I mean really NASTY, and I mean that in every good way possible. Again, another side of this band and done flawlessly and to perfection as usual. The biggest criticism I hear is the vocals with Asami that they "Don't match or belong with this band"....I call BS she has a range and a stage presence that commands every song this band performs and lest we forget at 5' tall this woman like the the rest of her petite band-mates blasts out her vocals despite everything going on behind her. Here as usual she prowls the stage pointing at and demanding the crowd join the band in the celebration that is going on stage.

Now you know why we asked for you to avoid anything from Bloodstock! Props for doing that. Now let me ask this. If you took this song, took LoveBites out of it, went back to 1986, and put in the classic lineup of Anthrax, how do you think the song would sound? What? Exactly the same? That's the idea. This screams like it came off their Among the Living album. Now, about the guitarists. They don't call Miyako (stage right guitarist) the Ice Princess for nothing. She's incredibly shy, so she lets her music do the talking for her. She's the enigma of the band, and lets herself shine through her playing, while Midori (stage left guitarist) is the showman. She's very outgoing, and it shows. It's those contrast in styles as well as playing styles that makes them work so well. I agree with the others: Break The Wall is your next LoveBites reaction, and I promise you, you'll see more of Miyako in that one. You'll love what she does there.

David, you are going to be very sad! From Wikipedia: On August 17, 2021, bassist Miho announced her departure from the band. The other members and their staff had held "countless meetings to find a way for her to stay," but ultimately decided to respect her decision. As a result, Lovebites temporarily suspended all activities, but assured fans that they would return. She was one of the two founding members. You have to wonder what brought this about; there was not reason given on there.They have been holding auditions for a new bassist.

I actually considered auditioning, I spoke with my manager about it. She contacted LOVEBITES management, and she told me not to waste my time. They are overloaded with submissions from thousands of bassists, most of which are young Asian women.
