put some copper wool at bottom of the parrot. Or if the parrot is dry, then lay at a 45 to 30-degree angle and drop in. Much more gentle less chance of breaking glass

Thank you Richard, I have this for my T500 and love it. One thing i found, Keep an eye on the pipe leading to the Parrot head in the early stages of distilling. As it warms up it becomes more flaccid ( No jokes ;-) )and mine nearly moved away from the Parrot (I just moved the parrot closet to the still once i noticed it). Cool piece of kit.

I have a parrot, but I only use it on the striping run, after that, it's all taste for me. Am missing something?

Loving the videos, very interesting and informative. Your t500 has an interesting base to it. It also looks like some sort of insulation ring is also installed. Could you please tell me more about that set up, or direct me to where I can find out more?
