Norris one aged very well. To be fair: After the backlash, he did admit that he was nowhere near ready to take on Max and Red Bull. But that initial charisma before he had the best car immediately became arrogance which he failed to backup multiple times and THEN he acts all salty and bitter in interviews. They are allowed to express emotions of course but it doesn't people will like it. I will always hold that "luck" comment against him though just like people still hold Multi 21 against Seb.

Ive never had a problem with Lance, I think the hate is just so undeserved. stroll isn't that amazing of a driver and i genuinely think that if anyone else owned that team he would've been out ages ago or at least be on the same ledge that checo is on now. most people don't have a problem with him as a person but with the fact that he keeps his seat, despite being an unsatisfactory driver, because his dad owns the team he drives for. this year alonso made amazing things happen in the aston martin but stroll did absolutely nothing with it. also the whole argument of 'being hated on constantly' and how it 'must ruin confidence and any kind of drive to be better' is null when you look at drivers like hamilton, who has faced hatred and racism since the beginning of his career. like alonso fans literally showed up to a race in blackface pretending to be lewis' family. if a driver has no motivation to be better or to drive, full stop, then they should not be on the grid at all, as they clearly don't have the mentality of someone who is top 20 in motorsport

on vettel at redbull being "hated": many michael schumacher fans like me (started F1 in 1992 with that freak looking benetton of michael), saw in monza 2008 another german guy winning for another italian team and having those national anthems again on tv, instantly had the feeling of so many ferrari wins 1996-2006, so we clearly chose our favourite. even with michael 2010-2012 on the grid, still i wanted vettel to win - although i wanted to see michael on podiums. but you know, the british PR never liked germans. on vettel at ferrari being "loved": british PR couldnt resist the very large pool of ferrari fans - honestly, i think 50% of people watching F1 are ferrari fans

I am a mclaren fan and I think lando has not behaved that well recently but I don't think that he deserves the amount of hate he gets. I mean max used to be waaaay worse than he is now yet people get on their knees for him. Lando is currently doing an inverse Vettel but without being successful. I had a favorable view of him a while ago. But at the time he's one of my least favourite drivers on the grid. It will be interesting how he reacts if Piastri becomes a bigger threat in the coming seasons. I don't expect him to take it well.

Here's a question, when does one consider a motorsport team to be harmonious? Media exposure can be foggy and misleading sometimes, but McLaren have appeared pretty positive these past few years. Since Fred Vasseur took the lead role at Ferrari, they've seemed a much more relaxed and contented team, and it feels hard to root for teams like Aston Martin, VCarb and Stake where they're leaning on the fate of their finances for success. Alpine just look a mess! Have Red Bull ever been considered harmonious? Ever since 2010, I just see them as a team lobsided to whichever driver's the best.
