I never understood why people were angry when Omer left Defne.....watching the scene at the shoe expo, it was evident to me that he really, really loved her....i understand his hurt at being betrayed....he was finally in love and she hurt him deeply.....im not belittling her pain because she probably suffered more than him.....but for man like him who was so closed up about his emotions, then having the love for rent bomb drop on him......i felt for her but my whole heart went out to him.

Same here. He did everything to make her happy, forgave her faults, big & small. But what did he get in return from people who he thought are with him - betrayal. That Pamir is BAD apple ready to “infect” every others in the “cart”, really BAD news. Sinan is more than a brother to Omer who can give an earful to him when necessary, could calm him down when nobody can, would get mad at him when he had too. That’s the kind of friend Omer needs. Defne’s grandmother will be a “thorn” in Defne & Omar reconciliation. She is slowly being swayed & getting venomous words from Pamir. She likes him & Pamir had found a “pawn” to use against Omer. Defne will be TORN again between Oner & her “easily swayed with sweet nothings” from Samir. Hope ISO will enlighten this grandma of Defne about how conniving & evil Pamir is.

She wants Omer in Defne's life. Omer has a loving attachment to Esra as well. Esra's future will be secure if Omer is around, because he likes her. Perhaps he realizes that he might be her guardian one day, should something happen to grandma. Esra is one of my favorite characters.

Other “ surprises” - “accidental” touching of Defne’s fingers when she handed the water bottle & iPad to Oner; deliberate touching of Defne’s fingers while 9mer was giving his speech. Again NO OBE’S the wiser that these are going on right in front of them. Omer, the master of “romantic, unexpected touches”!

I don't understand how Defne kept letting Neriman interfere in her and Omer's lives right up until the end. First Neriman tried to get Omer to propose to Defne then kept nagging Defne to tell Omer that she was pregnant. Glad Defne got to tell him in a very special way but Neriman pissed me off! She's such a busybody.

Defne had to learn to not make people push her around. At the end defne became must stronger and finally both Omer and Defne finally realize they cannot live without each other . Both are opposite ,but both are similar to about family values. Both had to learn , but one thing never changed in their on and off relationship is their love for each other. So in a way they had to go through the pain to get to their happiness at the end.

Since the beginning of S2, Pamir has always pissed me off. And even more at 1:16:19. He kept manipulating and gaslighting Defne and always managed to get away with it. The only reason he apologized was because he got caught by Omer and had to do it so he wouldn't lose more scores with Defne. That apology wasn't even sincere, since instead of being honest, he chose to play victim and gaslight her. Sure, he had some (moral?) debt with Neriman. But it wasn't so big that he was cornered and had no choice but to play in his aunt's scheme like Defne was. He played the game because he thought it'd be fun, as he said to his half sister (if I'm not mistaken) in the previous episode. Like Omer said, "you wouldn't be here if you were a victim, Pamir." I mean I understand that the character, Pamir, is necessary to keep the big theme "rental love" going: Defne in S1, and him in S2. But still, he pissed me off lol. Thankfully Defne never saw him romantically in the slightest. I think the biggest silver lining for the existence of Pamir was how his role in rental love put a perspective for Defne and Omer, as they discussed in the beginning of this episode. I loved that discussion. And if I had to summarize the existence of Pamir, it'd be: He came for the fun but got burned instead. 🔥

Yes I did watch they used their phones in the beginning Omer knows Daphne is in the kitchen but while going there Darya sends him to the garden but when Darya got them mixed up with Seda in the garden and then Omer comes and when Omer talks about meeting Daphne in the garden Seda tells him no she is in the kitchen also Darya sens Sinan to the kitchen where he finds Daphne made omlette and he starts eating when he says Seda was suposed to be in the kitchen Daphne corrects him that she is waiting in the garden now when they both go to the garden they find Darya now wasn't this the time to either one should have called on phone and asked where were they and in which room Pamir knew their rooms that's why he came to Seda's room where the rigmarole started

You said there was a directorial mistake because they had phones and could have just called each other. My point was, there was no mistake. They did use their phones.
