So many families leave the country and their pets are just left behind on the streets
We don't leave the country, we continue to feed stray dogs and rescue as many animals as we can

As much as it upsets me that so many Ukrainians just throw out defenseless and clueless puppies like a garbage, I'm thankful that there are people like Olena, her friends and those kind locals. In most of Olena's videos you can see that someone tried to build some kind of a shelter and that people (someone) brings some food, even if not perfect, they try. Thank you to all of you, who care. The three puppies are probably about two months older than Misha and Masha and they get along well. Seeing the five of them packed together in one bed is very sweet. You can only feel love for these innocents. I wish more female dogs would be spayed to prevent homeless puppies, hunger and illness. Humans and animals, all rely on kindness especially in difficult time. Thank you to Svetlana who feeds and helps to catch the pups; thank you to Olena and friend who rescue them to give them a better chance.

Awhile back, some construction workers found a kitten in a building that had been closed for 3 months. They took it to a vet. Vet x-rayed kitten. Kitten had 1.5 pounds of plastic in it's tummy. It was so hungry that it was eating any damn thing it could swallow. Operation. Kitten found a new home with one of the workers from the site. One of the Lucky ones. Just as these pups are, The Lucky Ones. Still lots out there, due to Mr. Brain Tumor, Putin. These ladies are the Gift of Life
