This guy is not that good, too much ice hockey influence techniques which are not relevant to field hockey.

Jason Moyle He has his own style. He is not an ortodox goalie but goalkeepering it's not about techinc, it's about save the net and this guy is probably in the top10/15 world class goalies right now.

Goalkeeping is about strong technique, its not just about keeping the ball out you have to follow certain practices and ways of doing it to play correctly. Where is Canada on the world men's rankings? nowhere!

Jason Moyle Of course technic is important, Im goalie too and goalie coach. But finally the most important thing is TO SAVE and this guy do an amazing job. Canada is not Australia or Argentina but was in the last Olyimpics so is in the in minimum in the top 11 (brazil participates because was the host). And in the moment Canada starts to win against teams like New Zealand in World League was really thanks to this guy. You can see witho your own eyes. @@jasonswift7098 Ironic that after saying this they're now in the top 10. Carter is a beast. Yeah, he isn't technically perfect, but it works phenomenally well.
