I see Roman Catholicism as a harlot, worshiping many idols. One of them is called the Queen of heaven. Do you need more idolatry than this? And Roman Catholicism is going to accept all religions, ecumenism is their charters.

Mother is already calling her daughters home. Many Protestants are already accepting the pope as their leader. Sad but true.

@@elainemoreland3908 . Surely those who don’t/never read the Bible accept the pope as leader. The pope is a political leader as he has many followers who are not bible believing Christians. Even the Muslim accepts the pope as leader. Are you proud of it? Read Jeremiah 7:18,19.; 44:17-19. Are you a harlot base on scripture?

@andywong9847 2 years ago (edited) I see Roman Catholicism as a harlot, worshiping many idols. -----It is true, she is all that. But, the fact that Babylon drinks from the cup in Revelation 16 should remind us of the law of jealousies in Numbers 5. When an unfaithful wife was suspected of harlotry, she was subjected to drinking from a vessel in the holy place of the sanctuary and God’s judgment for better or for worse would then come upon her. If she was guilty, her thigh would rot. In like manner, the unfaithful woman of Revelation 17 who is the mother of harlots may include Catholicism, but is not solely Catholicism. It is more likely from reading Ezekiel 16 that the woman who was unfaithful and broke wedlock and who will drink from the cup is symbolized by none other than Jerusalem itself. Remember, Revelation 18 reminds us that the whore contains the blood of prophets and the apostles, and it was the Jews who murdered the prophets of old and the apostles of Christ’s day as Christ himself accuses them of doing in Matthew 23, long before Catholicism even existed, but Christ warned they would continue in this trend of persecuting and killing the prophets and such that Christ would send among them: something Paul himself even admits to being a party to when testifying before Agrippa in Acts 26 almost quoting Christ word for word from Matthew 23. So, you can think of Jerusalem as representing both the Jews and the later Christians or the Judeo-Christian religion in its totality. In this sense, Revelation 12 and 17 are a sharp contrast between two women who represent those who are faithful to God in Revelation 12 from the Judeo-Christian faith versus those who are unfaithful to God as depicted by the whore of Revelation 17 from the same Judeo-Christian faith. Hence explaining why the whore of 17 is both drunken with the blood of the saints (those from the Old Testament she killed) and the blood of the martyrs of Jesus (those she killed in New Testament times). And so, when God destroys Jerusalem, note that later in Revelation he introduces a New Jerusalem. Why destroy Jerusalem and introduce a New Jerusalem after the fact, what was wrong with the Old Jerusalem, that great city in Revelation 11 where also our Lord was crucified which also puts to death the two prophets? Because again that great city Jerusalem is in this chapter as well representative of those in the Judeo-Christian faith who reject Christ, and who reject his prophets (those commissioned to speak the very words of God). People have wondered for a long time who the two prophets of Revelation 11 are, and Deuteronomy 18 might be the critical detail they are missing. Moses is the first prophet, and Christ is the other prophet Moses said would come, and wouldn’t you know it, those who are faithful to God in this time sing the song of Moses and the Lamb in Revelation 15. They are not among those in Christianity trying to pervert the law and the gospels, but they are faithful to the law and the gospels, realizing that the true Judeo-Christian faith is not a house divided against itself which must fall if it were according to Christ’s doctrine, but that the law of the Old Testament and the gospels of the New Testament are a single message that fits together like a hand and glove, rather than two warring ideas that pastors and theologians have turned them into in their desire to turn the Judeo-Christian faith into their own personal Babylon. This might help to explain further why God warns us in Isaiah 8:16 that his law is the seal he seals among his disciples, and that those speaking contrary to the law and testimony in Isaiah 8:20-22 have no light in them, but will be driven into darkness. Isaiah 8:16 warns us to bind up the testimony and seal the law among his disciples, because binding the writings of the law and testimony to the forehead and hand is found in the law of Deuteronomy 6, and this is contrasted against the mark of the beast in the right hand and foreheads of those in the third angel’s message of Revelation 14 who side with entities like Babylon, the beast and the beast’s image. They replace God’s law with a different law and authority belonging to the beast system. Which is why God’s people in Revelation 12:17, 14:12 and 22:12-14 are found keeping the commandments of God as well as the faith of Jesus, because again they are those who sing the song of Moses and the Lamb understanding how the law and gospel of God agree, rather than forcing them to disagree.

I agree with you that's it's not Rome Italy according to Daniel 8:8&9 which talks about the 4 horns ( Alexander the great's generals ) after Alexander the Great died. Alexander never went to Italy but concurred the entire Middle East all the way to the India's border. I firmly believe that the seventh and eighth empire is the Ottoman empire and that the false religion is Islam. The Roman Empire was ruled from Turkey exclusively from 410 AD until the year 1453 when they were defeated by Turkish Muslims. Islam is defiantly spiritual adultery. Islam is in different parts of the world ( many waters ) and Muslims speak many different languages. Last year Turkey's president Erdogan called out for Islamist to join him so he could create an army to destroy Israel. He's also said on many occasions that he wants to rebuild the Ottoman Empire. I also believe that the 10 kings who will destroy the beast/Babylon are Middle Eastern countries because of what Jeremiah 51:11 says. ( Sharpen the arrows, fill the quivers! The Lord has aroused the spirit of the kings of the Medes, Because His purpose is against Babylon to destroy it; For it is the vengeance of the Lord, vengeance for His temple. ) Notice it says the spirit of the Medes so this is talking about the last days and the ancient Mede Empire covered the entire Middle East with the exception of Saudi Arabia. I have learned that if you want to know what the future holds then just look at the past. Babylon past and future. There will be a last days Assyrian empire lead by a man that the Bible refers to only as the Assyrian who is mentioned in Isaiah 31:8 as well as in other scriptures. That scripture as well as Isaiah 30:27-33 and the book of Nahum describes God pouring out His wrath on the last days Assyrians. You had a stature in ancient Babylon and also the last days Babylon where if you didn't worship the statue then you will be killed. Ezekiel 94 says when God poured out His wrath on the Jews for their idolatry but He told His angel to put a mark on those who were faithful and those wouldn't receive His wrath. It says the same thing in Revelation 9:4 and there are so many other examples of the past also being the future. .
