I guess in times past God let us do our thing as it were , but in the new creation all of us are being called to account as the Lord has a better or final plan to come and rule us not from a distance any more so we prepare now for that day.

Heb.9.27 appointed once for men to die then the judgement. Elijah yes, Moshe he already died once. Anyone who hasnt died yet ? Zechariah chptr.4 talks about a lampstand and tells about the two olive trees .

It does seem more logical that the two witnesses will be living in those days rather than returned, as transfigured bodies cannot die. This is indeed a bit of a mystery.

@@888WulfDog888 if Elihah and john the baptist are connected in some way like Yeshua says that they are, then it is logical that Moshe and someone like Elijah that has never died... Enoch walked with God. Moshe saw Elohim Face to face. I'm convinced the other wittness is Enoch. Also Moshe walked with God forty years

@@russcollins4762 Well we know that one saying of Enoch has been retained in scripture despite him being raptured before the flood and probably pre dating writing itself; 14 Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about them: “See, the Lord is coming(B) with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones(C) 15 to judge(D) everyone, and to convict all of them of all the ungodly acts they have committed in their ungodliness, and of all the defiant words ungodly sinners have spoken against him." Jude 1:14-15 So that makes him one of two who hasn't mortally died and these words place Him right at the scene.... the end of the age...... If I was a cop doing an investigation he would definitely make a prime suspect! Very interesting, you might be onto something.
