This is so heartwarming. That’s why I love coming home to my family and seeing my country. When some people look at a third world country, they only see the economy. I wish they would see that there’s a lot of love and caring in spite of the poverty. It keeps me grounded and appreciate the blessings I have.

I'm a filipino but I believe commercials thru telling stories started in Thailand. Their commercials were used in school activities as motivations or warm up or so. then it was just in recent years that Jollibee made their commercials emotional and with stories that will absolutely pierce every viewer's heart.

And Fun Fact: Taga-hatid Pasko actually doesnt mean literally in a sense that they bring you Christmas season. It means they are the people who work to make you feel like its christmas already. They work hard to make the banners, shop themes, and those late night shifts to serve the customers. I think from here on you can already pick up what im trying to say😉😁😊 (only useful if no one explained😂 YET) i feel like you'd want to know. I live independently, pay my house rent, cook my own food, do house hold chores. And do some extra work for additional income. Not to brag but the efforts and sacrifices i put in i was able to make my family more happier now. And soon to make them the happiest coz i love them so much. I work now as an overseas filipino worker in the Maldives. By the way Thank you for sharing this video,It moves me so dearly coz ive never seen this comercial since i left the country.

** sorry, a bit too long, but pls read** I got hooked on watching these commercials, there’s no way in hell I could live in the Philippines, Singapore, or other parts of Asia, where they have these commercials running all the time. I would be crying from the moment I woke up until the moment I went to bed! They are absolutely beautiful commercials, with beautiful messages, but when you get to be in your mid-50s and life has banned you around more than you could ever imagine having experienced heartbreaking loss and devastation, many of these commercials only serve to remind me of all those tragedies I’ve been through, to a point where suicidal thoughts begin to enter my head. Like everybody, I’ve lost people very very dear to me, I learn to live with it, because after being clinically dead, for three minutes myself after my large intestine ruptured from Crohn’s disease, and then cancer, I’ve been to the other side, I know that our love ones are still where, watching us, guiding us. I understand most people won’t believe that, and that’s fine, I’m not here to convince anybody of anything, I can only tell you what I experienced, and it is 100% real. Knowing that death is not an ending, what a transition, and that it’s not goodbye, but simply until we meet again, helps deal with the pain, but when you add on all the other things we go through in life, you can just crush your heart. Maybe I’m just being melodramatic, at 20 I was diagnosed with severe Crohn’s disease, six months later, shortly after my 21st birthday, my large intestine burst, killing me in 15 minutes, thank God I was already in the hospital I wouldn’t be here. That started a journey of 37 surgeries spanning three decades, combined with having intestinal cancer for separate times, with only a 5% chance each time. Why am I telling you this? Two reasons, to explain why I get so emotional, watching these commercials, and secondly, but most importantly, to take nothing for granted, and to remember that money doesn’t mean a damn thing, the love that we share with our family and friends is the most important thing in this world, and these commercials, remind us all of that. Everybody pities me, but I don’t want pity, I want to take a very, very negative dark time in my life and turn it into something positive, to help people, understand and realize what’s truly important in life. Just being alive is a gift I thought I would never get to keep, not even the doctors can explain how or why I survived, but I know. I know that it was divine intervention, despite the fact I’m gay in a 35 year-long interracial marriage (I only mention that because people think God hates gay people, no, I’m a man of deep faith, God made me this way, nobody chooses it, the only choice we have is to live a lie, or to tell the truth, and live in open and honest life), I know it was God himself that saved me, that combined with the love from my spouse, my family and my friends. That love is more precious to me than anything in the world, so I cherish it, I believe that’s what these commercials are intended for, to remind us all, cherish the love, appreciate life, because both are very special gifts, that no amount of money in the world could buy. Please don’t ever forget that, because when you’re at the end, it’s too late for the. “ I wish I would have’s”. Don’t wish, make it happen. There’s so much more to life than making money and accumulating, materialistic objects, because in the end, nothing can save you from the inevitable, but that joy, love, and positivity that you put out into this world comes back to you 100 fold, that can save you, believe it, I’m speaking from experience.
