I love how you used the life and teachings of Jesus to make this clear. My marriage is becoming cold and this is just the kind of motivation I need to get us up the ground right now.

I stumbled upon this show that offers professional advice on navigating relationships devoid of love, where 'love' goes beyond just amorous feelings.

Rescuing a loveless marriage requires courage, commitment, and often outside support. By addressing underlying issues with honesty and empathy, couples can rediscover the love and connection that initially brought them together. With dedication and the right resources, such as counseling or marriage therapy, it's possible to rescue a loveless marriage and build a stronger, more fulfilling relationship.

I had to break it off between my partner and me after 3 years because I realized there just wasn't love there anymore. It was difficult but I realized it was for the better and now we can find the people we were actually meant to be with.

This is just what I want to hear at the moment. That there's hope and I can work something about my marriage. It's beautiful to listen to someone who has practical ideas one can try to save a marriage. They sound like something achievable and I can't wait to get started on them.

There are a lot of reasons that people give for staying in a loveless marriage. Most often they are related to children and/or finances. But is staying in a marriage when you have fallen out of love really the right thing to do under any circumstances? The answer to that is - it depends. Most don’t realize when they say their “I do’s” that marriage will at some point become hard. Whether your love is strong or not, all relationships go through ups and downs. And the sweeping emotions that you feel at the beginning can change over time. It doesn’t have to mean the love is gone, but it does mean you need to make additional effort and potentially redefine what you want and need from your spouse.

That's just all I want to hear. That there's hope and things can be worked out to get the love back into my marriage. I don't want to leave the marriage because I know that this is something that is caused by both of us and can also be fixed by us. I'll just try to see if I can actually get a professional marriage counsellor to help us.

I can feel how much you're longing for hope and love in your marriage. It's brave to want to work through this together. How do you envision counseling helping you both reconnect?

It’s important for us to identify when love no longer exist in our marriages, and decide when to back up or seek professional help. However, I will always recommend that couple be sure love is indeed lacking before they take any steps. So if you haven’t see the “signs of a loveless marriage” video, I will recommend you check that out first.

You are right. Many people assume having a simple disagreement with their partner - which they could easily sort out with communication means love is gone in such relationship. It’s good you pointed that out.

Funny how a fairy-tale marriage that had a happy-ever-after hanging over it right from the beginning, just begin to spiral down without control. I'm going to make sure I'm not just seeking therapy but also spiritual help because this doesn't feel normal.

This would sound easy until when you are trying to get your partner to join you in a therapy that would probably help the both of you! This is my second marriage and no I'm not going to let it go down the drain. I know I'm also at fault to an extent but I think I can be cut some slack when I'm still the one making efforts to fix us.

On the surface, it sounds simple, but getting your partner to join you in therapy is often anything .
