Oh my god... the instant memories. I was raised an a mega conservative Christian house in seattle, and wasn't allowed anything outside church music or culture... until my parents bought me an alarm clock with a radio 🤣 this show taught me everything I know about life

This is the ultimate nostalgia trip for me; this show honestly brought some happiness to my shitty childhood. Before cell phones; didn’t know how to work computers yet, just going off pure audio, laughs and learning at the same time

I am from a small town where we didn't get this on the radio. I went to visit my childhood best friend who moved to the city (suburbs) and we listened to this, without our parents knowing, from evenings in the 1996. We loved this. He's dead now.

@@EJD339 Thanks. Yes, but I think now, as an adult, this kind of program puts too many bad ideas into the heads of teens. Granted, a radio show is nothing compared to the garbage kids see nowadays everywhere. But the degeneracy had to start somewhere.

@@thomasfranche6770 I see what you’re saying but it actually really helped us. I went to a catholic school and didn’t have sex Ed classes and this was before the internet so it actually helped me with my relationships believe it or not. Crazy thing is this episode is about to be 27 years old and humans are still having the same sexual problems. Except technology is the new way to find love and no more face to face conversations. Sadly, the problems lie in our own hands. Stop texting people and have some good old fashioned conversation. Miss this show!😢

@@tyd8077 curious on this actually .. given the younger ages of the callers tho, it's only gonna be in the 2-6% range. No way even close to 1 outta 10 callers is dead 20 yrs or less later
@tyd80772 жыл бұрын
@@AJ-gj9qe I dunno, I wouldn't be surprised at all. Considering the amount of mental illness, drug abuse, etc among callers. One example, someone I know around my age (early 30s) went to a rough school in the inner city. He was talking about his basketball team. Half of the kids in that team are dead now. Its a pretty shocking statistic, not saying it applies here but I'd not be too surprised if there was a larger than average death rate among LL callers. Really wish it was possible to do a study like this though.
