September 1st marks the official launch of "Kaly's Music Challenge", a short series of home videos of music collaborations featuring covers and original works with artists/frontmen.
The point of the challenge is to create a coherent music mix of two different energies and artistic sensibilities. Simply put, each of us gets to chose the song that's being covered and the way they want to do it, and I need to find a way to fit that musical picture.
The series is also educational in nature. Its intention/purpose is to remind us and teach us that there are no socio-psychological, spiritual, generational, qualitative limits in music. Every artist must strive to evolve both in terms of themselves and their intellectual and emotional self-upgrade, as well as the times in which they live and the changes that they bring.
