I absolutely love this song and so I decided to make a video with it about Dean. The sentence I focused on is "Welcome Home". With this sentence I wanted to portray that he feels home in the sadness, in his hell. When you've been feeling sad for so long it becomes a comfortable place. Being sad is dangerous cause it will make you miss it when you're happy.

I just wanna share with you that I have gotten a lot of reactions from people on my videos about Dean Winchester. People share with me that they feel the same and that they identify themselves with Dean. I am happy that you guys feel safe enough to share that here and that you can find some kind of comfort in my videos. I also realize that my videos can deepen the sadness that someone is feeling. When you're feeling sad, it feels good to watch sad videos and drown in your sadness. It's comfortable. But I do want you to know that it is not okay to hang on to the sadness. You have to talk about it and work through it. Because it is not okay to hold in your emotions. Dean can share his with Sam and Cas. And you can share yours with someone important in your life too. You may feel like people won't understand or that they'll judge you. But believe me, everybody has felt sadness in their life. Maybe not the same kind of sadness, but they do know what it's like to hurt. Important people in your life will help you and will care about you. Don't be afraid to open up. You will feel relieved. If you feel like you don't have someone in your life that will listen or help, you can always come to my videos and reach out. Did anyone notice that as the season went on, the light from his eyes, his happiness, it all faded away slowly? I felt that. All he wanted was to find his dad, he wanted his mother back, he loved his brother. He never had a proper childhood, he had to protect Sam. He isn’t okay. And it shows more and more as the seasons go on and that just makes me really upset. There are moments where he’s happy but there are only a few. I love Dean. I love Jensen's preformance. This deserves an Oscar for sure. He runs through so many emotions - Love, anger, envy, happiness, hopefulness, motivation, bitterness, boredom. Most imprtantly and hurt (etc). Jensen's such good actor, and he's acting alongside Jared, Mark and Misha! They're all spectacular actors, and they all feed off of each other, especially Jensen and Jared! I think this refelcts on the SPN family. We're all our OWN. Actually I think most people do. At least the Dean fans. His persona is awesome but, no it's the broken man behind the mask that makes people commit to the character through the series. I know, while I usually love and relate to him on so many levels, it's this stuff where he knows how damaged he is and how much he can't be fixed or saved and how much he only wants family and loyalty but besides Bobby, everyone leaves him. That's the pure gold of the character that makes him so very compelling. I'm the oldest to a brother nearly 4 years younger. Everyone abandoned us but my grandmother. I'm not close to my brother like Dean but they even showed that in an episode where if they hadn't become hunters like they did they wouldn't even hardly talk to each other.

I just wanted to point out that on a technical level, much of Supernatural is shot in extreme close ups. For many actors, to be able to act well with a camera square in your face is really hard, it comes off goofy or you just don't hit the emotional mark. And that to me is why Jensen is such a good actor in this because his emotions are so subtle but portrayed really well in the close ups and you feel like you're right there with him feeling what he feels.
