A lovely property in a perfect, natural setting with great views, but ludicrously overpriced. It's only a 3-bed, 2-bathroom property which is pretty standard. Some drawbacks: no central heating or solar panels, so budget an extra €15-20k for installing them. This is a renovation of an old property, so there won't be pre-installation of central heating (pipes already embedded in the walls), and the walls and roof won't be properly insulated to modern standards like a new or recent build would be. Thick stone walls still allow significant heat loss in winter. Plus no swimming pool. In these circumstances I wouldn't pay more than €200,000. Someone would really have to fall in love with it, the location and views to offer anywhere near the asking price. It's quite easy to find larger houses in excellent condition with 4/5beds and a swimming pool for around €250,000 in the interior of Portugal, so this house doesn't even start to compete.

It happens in the US. People coming to other states and buying property in cash. That makes the home prices go up and then we cannot afford to buy in our own state.

Vous avez amplement raison, je regarde des vidéos de votre beau pays , je vis en France dans une trés belle région aussi, j'envisage de la quitter et de quitter la France , mais JAMAIS je ne voudrais etre occupant d'un bien qui ferai défaut a la population locale qui en a besoin . Ou alors acheter un bien a l'abandon pour le valoriser, ce que j'ai fait ici vielle ferme vendue depuis que j'ai sauvée de la décrépitude.

En effet c’est trop cher pour l’instant je vois pas d’arbre à fruits il y a ni cerisier ni quoi que ce soit et le balcon il faut le peindre la rénovation elle laisse vraiment à Désirer 😅😅
