Lovely Land For Sale + Housesit Tips PLUS Coimbra Backstreet Tour

We had a day out in the lovely city of Coimbra, Central Portugal, this week. We chose to go on a weekday so that it was less busy. We decided to check out the backstreets, the less touristy spots. We ate vegan burritos at the fabulous restaurant of the same name ( in Portuguese of course!) Buritos! Tasty and filling.
We enjoy the alternative student culture of Coimbra and wandered off the more beaten tracks, we check out the graffiti art and messages and the creative ways people adopt and own the inner city spaces.
We were in the area as we had taken on a housesit to have a little break and explore a new location. We also enjoy spending time with animals so housesitting works out great for us. We've previously taken on housesits in Portugal and France as well as the UK and intend to do more, as and when, time and place allows it. It really is a great way to see new places and you get to live-like-a-local...

On the way back we saw a very beautiful piece of land in the lovely and friendly town of Vila Nova de Poiares, so we filmed that for you.
