I just wanted to make a special mention about Cosmo's pink feathers (often mistaken by many viewers as sore or bald patches, because of the unique flesh pink color). The owner has clarified it in previous videos too. Cosmo has a genetic mutation called the 'Red Factor', which is very rare in African Greys. According to google, Greys with this variation are, in fact, called 'King Greys' and are prized for this rare trait. That is even more proof that our Cosmo is a very special bird in more ways than one, even among her own species 🩷🩷🩷

@@tbucket8180 She's gaining some feathers back and yes she does have a lot of down but as the vet says she doubts that she will ever grow her feathers fully back. Most important thing to me is that she is healthy and I do get her vet checked at least five times a year.
