Cosmo is like a Dennis the menus. The mischievous kid at school. She cracks me up especially when harassing poor Saber. You can tell that taunting Saber is bringing her joy. My daughter has 2 rehomed African greys, they are fun but the one still bites but she’s getting better as she is learning to trust people more. She spent 11 years in a cage and the other her owner passed away but is really friendly.

I had budgies. Only one learned to speak Silky. I had been away on holiday . A friend looked after her. I took her back to my flat and let her out of the cage..she said…Rita home. Silky happy bird. Another time a friend Marion had been staying with me. Silky loved peaches. She would say ..Silky peaches…. I would give her a piece. .one time I kept saying. …I haven’t got peaches……then she said Silky. Peaches…….again I said I haven’t got peaches…..Silky changed her request …….Marion peaches……… Is there studies into these birds not. Parroting. But understanding their own speech ? Darling Silky died a long time ago
