The Jacksons are so talented. Michael's dancing was off the chart. He had a sense of style even back then. This is a great performance.

That is very well said, thighseye. The JACKSON were a force of nature, and Mike was the leading edge of that force. If you go back to the Jackson 5 days you will really see the strength of the group. They were not a boy band like we see today. They were a legitimate soul group who traveled without backing tracks, sequencers or samplers. Jermaine and Tito were actually playing bass and rhythm/lead guitar. It was totally legit, and absolutely spellbinding.

I'm sorry, I've just got to say that he was absolutely the man...especially in this video...he freestyle incorporated choreography from the Thriller Video and the Beat It video into this live performance, while singing live (not lip syncing) and while holding a microphone that had a chord...not a wireless mic, not a lavalier, not a headset. Absolutely amazing, best performer ever in his prime. Neyo, Usher, Chris Brown, whoever you want to name, all don't even come close. They would tell you too!

Why all the negativity? We all know MJ was the force, but rest of them are talented also. I don't like things like EbonyLioness said. I met some of them and they were the nicest folks. And Jermaine was the original lead singer. Why can't we just enjoy these great performances? The Man is gone, he is a legend....as well as the JACKSONS. So worry about you and your siblings and who is the best. MJ Forever!

@EbonyLioness Just want to thank you for speaking the truth! Some "fans" are delusional when it comes to the truth of the Jacksons! They would still be in Gary, IN if it wasn't for Michael which Barry Gordy confirmed when he said Michael was the draw that led him to sign the J5 in the first place! However, the rest of the Jacksons, especially Marlon and Jermaine were completely delusional about the the level of their own talent!

You really are insulting at best. All of the Jacksons have talent. It takes everyone to make up the group. The J5 was the foundation for Michael's success. Jermaine was the original lead leader and sings second on most songs. I'm tired of ignorant comments like yours putting down the brothers. Do u think Michael would like you for dogging out his family. I have over 30 yrs in the game of following this family so please get your facts straight. Also don't bother responding.

@EbonyLioness Absolutely! He didn't want to do the tour and the animosity was apparent! Marlon, who btw was a horrid dancer, kept on trying to copy Michael's every move in an attempt to get attention. Jermaine looked pissed off too! I completely agree that Michael was annoyed. He knew he was being used cuz otherwise the tour would have been a complete bust! Fans went crazy at Michael's every move and critics from old reviews deemed Michael the only one with any real talent in the bunch!

ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME??? The Jacksons aren't legends & were NEVER anything more than MJ's backup singers! For God's sake Jerkmaine WAS NEVER lead singer on any of their hits & certainly wasn't lead singer of the group EVER from day 1 at Motown! He sang lead on some songs but even in their audition tape for Motown it was Micheal! The Jacksons became hasbeens when MJ left the group! If not for him they would still be in Gary! Look it up..after MJ left the group their label dropped them!
