In August 2021 I bought a similar set of aluminium wheels for my 27.5" hardtail MTB. 24 holes each rim. They were branded BUCKLOS. They have held up pretty well, staying true and with only one broken spoke (which I have replaced) after several hundred miles of riding paved roads, hardpack and some rough rocky terrain. And hopping on and off a lot of curbs too. I must say that for the price the quality is excellent and they look lovely. Total price including postage was USD 231.54. I'm still riding them today, they are still very true and as good as new after a few thousand miles now. I am no featherweight @ 80kg (approx. 180lbs). I would definitely recommend the brand and would buy again without thinking twice.

I live in Egypt and price is a huge concern since our currency got trashed. As far as I can tell, things that are made in china by European companies just get really expensive due to European taxes, European salaries, European warehousing and then more European taxes. Here we joke: each time a white man touches something, it becomes more expensive. So I think it's really safe to get wheel sets from Ali Express.

Also their hub are compatible with dt swiss but I'm not sure about that statement since I never had to replace one and I also bought extra drivers since they're super cheap. well, part of the cost of the real DT Swiss wheelset / hubs relies in R&D. Research and development - that's a cost that ZTTO & others don't have to deal with... Now, we don't really know what part in the final price is the R&D cost, but nontheless, we shouldn't forget about this aspect. As we shouldn't also forget that the patent for the DT Swiss hubs expired recently - that's why so many DTSwiss-style hubs are available on aliexpress. But, shouldn't this also mean that original DT Swiss hubs should come cheaper, now?

The mark up too especially on “ branded “ stuff is atrocious. Almost double or triple the price of the product in asia. So yes, All you have to make sure about stuff that comes out of china is Good to decent machining, Quality control, And ethical and humane treatment of workers.

DT Swiss, Shimano, SRAM etc they all got quality control = more cost = more safe, I would never buy a random asia / china brand, sorry but riding a bike I want to live at the end of my trip.

@@LoveMTBI get why ppl want to buy cheap, but its important to remember: yes for a brand you paymore for the name, but also for quality control, big brands do not want to be sued, and cheap brands - they exists in the moment you buy them, but they stop existing once something horryfying has happened and was reported to them. so untill there wont be a 3rd party quality control company for those companies ill never buy something that was not tested

To be honest for me ztto are generic brands im not sure about there website or any other products and services and most of them sells at online. Here in phil when they say its hub they only care about the noise and durability, not the engagement or something technical about that hub but for me it's best to test some chinese brands but don't put your 100% trust on it. I only cares about your safety that's it. Cheers!

You and me both Jose! But the reality is they are around and they sell and people use them. So might as well take a look at what they are about
