We tested on day 7 and she was a 7.77. We tested two days later and she was a 2.82. I've never seen a dog drop like this.

I hade a dog that I breed before,with successes in ai. But last time she went from 12 down to a 6 back to a 17 down to 11, then back to 15 . I AI twice and nothing what happen, your oblige in this would be great help thanks.

Hello I’ve bred my female her last 3 heats and she hasn’t gotten pregnant. This last breeding she was a 20 on the idexx when we shipped for the next day we just did the tci! So that Friday she was a 3 on the idexx machine we come back Monday for a test and she a 20 on idexx so my vet said she had to start ovulating that night into sat so Tuesday would be 48hrs after ovulation, we went in at day 31 for ultrasound and they didn’t see any pups!

hi sir james, im a fan of your videos. question is, i did a progesterone test on day 8 since the 1st drop of blood and it came high , the result is 25.60ng/ml on vcheck machine, is it okay to do AI only? do i still have a chance to get my american bully pregnant? i did 3x straight AI..

I did the progesterone test, comes back Monday. My dog started spotting, none on the floor, light pink blood 4 days ago. Today red blood and blood on the floor. My question is, do I count day one as today? Or is day 1 (4) days ago?

Are there any physical signs of a split heat? My female has gone a little over a year since she had her 1st litter with no visible heat. She started bleeding 10 days ago but now its a vanilla color and not much at all. I got a progesterone test on day 6 and she was at 2.68. Is the only way to know to test her again? Could she be having a split heat?

I did a a TCI with a progesterone level of 27. The night before and morning of she was humping my leg like crazy lol which she never did throughout her heat. Any thoughts? Was I late? Do her humping mean anything?

(it is a brindle female and a blue fawn male brother of lilac) how many generations or what crosses does it take to start producing exotic colors? Don’t think of this as exotic colors. It is simple a gene. And in most cases it is recessive and for the puppy to display the color it has to inherit a copy if the trait from both parents

So, when crossing an exotic color with a standard color, would those puppies be carriers of the exotic color gene? Or because it is said that only the lilac color inherits those genes? Thank you for your response, greetings!

If you breed a standard color that does not carry any of the recessive genes(blue, chocolate or cocoa) with a lilac, blue, or Isabella, the puppies will be carries. These puppies can produce the lilacs, blues, chocolates..etc if bred to another carrier or a dog with 2 copies of the recessive gene

Yes whether you’re doing a vaginal AI are you doing natural breeding you’re going to do it on exactly the same numbers

My dog came into heat 1/15 And on that day i discovered drops on the floor. I took her to get a progesterone test on 1/24 her levels were at 5 . Did first AI on 1/26 and her levels were at a 20. Did second AI on 1/28 . Im nervous now with her levels going up that high in 2 days because said between 15/18 if she’s pregnant . Let me know your thoughts thanks

Going back in time a bit on your videos. Getting used to your progesterone machine & learning to draw blood. If first sign of blood on bedding is day 0, my girl was a level of 12.1 on day 12. 24 hrs later on day 13 she’s 12.71. Is it normal for first cycles to advance slower? Thanks!

Same progesterone level as you would an AI and no matter what your spending that doesn’t matter when you breed the dog so I don’t know why you added money to the equation.. all your doing with an AI is replacing the natural mating process everything else is the same..

@@michellegordon1061 thanks for answer,i mentioned money for semen because this is AI method. Naturally breed is much cheaper than AI,for AI i have to buy semen. For naturally just found some friends who have blue or lilac male.
