My bernedoodle has a thick coat. I can part his hair with my fingers and easily see down to the skin, but its really tough to get a slicker brush through it. He has no knots or mats...its just the the hair is really tight to brush. Is it ok for me to not be able to easily brush through it as long as there are no mats?

Thanks for showing the CC brush to us 😃 Would have been awesome to see you brush the other front leg with a different slicker, to see the brushes work compared 😊 Brushed and unbrushed poodle coat always look crazy different and amazing 😅😍

I'm so glad you reviewed this brush, I was considering buying it. I got a Standard in January and I'm still trying to figure out what brushes and sprays I need. I've been watching your videos on your brushes and it is helpful. How long did you go without brushing your dogs legs out? I love the haircut on Benny the black one. What areas of the dog will you use this new brush on? Just the legs? I was wondering what brush you use on his ears when they are that long. Thanks! Gorgeous dogs you have there.

Thank you! The longest I go without brushing Benny is a week but I try at least twice a week. I brushed him with this brush all over. His ears are very thick and the brush made it easy to brush through.

Great review of the slicker brush. Which ones do you prefer for tiny toy poodles? Thank you bunches. I continue to learn more and more in grooming my furr baby.

I use a variety of brushes. One of my favorites are this soft slicker for brushing and Fluff Drying a.co/d/174KQBQ For mats I like this brush a.co/d/cKgZE4Z

@@LoveofGrooming thank you so much!!!! I put the first in my cart and can’t wait to get it. I have a small one that I love to use on Phoebe, but need a new, bit bigger one. This one looks perfect. I don’t remember if it was thru one of your videos, that was recommended: Warren London Butter shampoo and conditioner? I also ordered their perfume spray leave in conditioner, but was disappointed as it barely has a scent, but what a difference it has made it Her Coat for combing out and such a smooth groom. Thank you.

Great news! I haven't tried the Warren London Line but may give it a try. I haven't heard any negative reviews about it.

OMG, you didn't know about this brush?! I'm sorry I didn't recommend it to you a long time ago. I found your videos after I finally got my dream dog in 2019. Dolly is a black standard poodle, well, more like a "bad black" (slightly faded now but not as much as a blue. She also has a "gay tail." We jokingly call her a "Substandard Poodle.") I just assumed since you're such a fantastic groomer that surely you knew all about these brushes. I'm no groomer; I'm just a novice trying to learn how to groom Dolly since her beloved groomer is slowly retiring. She highly recommended this brush to me and I have recommended it to anyone who will listen. My Dolly wears a modified sweetheart/babydoll clip we call the Dolly Clip. I still have so much to learn! I try to make up for my total lack of skill, talent and experience with the best tools I can afford. I greatly appreciate your videos. You're such a good teacher. Kenchii also makes a decent, faster brush much cheaper; but the pins are so sharp and it doesn't remove nearly as much coat as the CC Coral Big G. I want to get it in the small and medium sizes for smaller areas and for my Persian cat.

Thank you 😊. I knew about the brush but never got around to buying one. I just thought my brushes were doing a great job and then wanted to try new products so I bought it and glad I did. I brushed out a havanese today with the brush and the knots came out with ease. I am so happy. You poodle must look nice with that clip.

Thank you! Oh, that makes sense now! I was reluctant to spend so much money on a single brush, but the groomer recommended it so highly. I knew I'd need all the help I can get. Dolly is stubborn. She jumps up like a bronco when I try to #10 blade her paws or work on her pompom cuffs, and she repeatedly sticks out her tongue when I try to #10 blade her face. I have a Wahl KM Cordless and a corded Andis UltraEdge, but I usually end up using this cheap, tiny, AA battery powered Oster I got at Walmart for about $12 for her face and paws. I wish I could find a really good mini clipper that is as tiny and nimble. Dolly wiggles and won't stand straight so I have trouble trying to make the diamond on her back. I've gotten a little better with the top part of the diamond, following her rib cage; but that bottom part, by her waistband down her back toward her tail and around her hip bones is a mess! Still, she is beautiful and literally stops traffic when I take her for a walk. People ask if she's a show dog and I say, "No, she's just my showoff dog." I make all her bows to match her collars. I adore her.🥰🐩
