Many years ago one of my good friends who is now deceased a fellow by the name of Dan Wolfe, had learned to play guitar and took a fancy to Jim Croce and a few other artists. I was sitting at the kitchen table early this morning I thought of Dan and how together we would sing these Jim Croce songs this is the one that came to mind first don't ask me why but thank you Dan thank you for your friendship and thank you for all those good times singing all those old songs. Rest in peace my friend on this Christmas holiday.

he hit the charts with leroy brown and operator. this was among his best. he was a good friend as well as maury. it has been almost 50 yrs. i miss them both. imagine what they could have done. rip my good friends
