I read the book when I was 18, now I'm 33. It's weird that when I read the story for the first time I was kinda at the same age of them at the beginning and now I'm kinda at the same age of them at the end. I've changed for sure, but the story still hits hard. It's so beautiful and so painful. It really stuck with me for all these years, I tried to live without wasting time, no space for regrets 😌 anyway this series is definitely worth watching and it's very faithful to the book, I think

I have seen the movie and the series. Love them both in different ways. The acting of Emma and Dex in the series is phenomenal. Truly. I probably cried for 2 days because of this series. It is sooo good. Please do the entire series! I would loveee to see your reaction!!

i went into this show so unexpecting. I never heard of the book and the movie has been on my list to watch for ages but I've never gotten to it so when this popped up on Netflix i just thought "oh wow, this is probably gonna be some funny, off-beat British coming of age story. perfect!".... i was so wrong. an hour, a freaking hour is how long it took me too recover after finishing it.

I watched the movie years ago when it first came out and I loved it but it BROKE me so I’ve only seen it once. I put off watching the show for ages because I was scared but it was so beautiful even though I cried through most of the show knowing what would happen. It was worth it though, the acting is so incredible

This TV series is based on the 2011 film of the same name and book of the same name that came out in 2009 except that this version the actress playing Emma is actually British and not like The movie where he had and halfway with a bad Yorkshire accent

I have never been so disappointed at the ending of a show ever. It was builing into a beautifull crescendo with the penultimate episode finally gettting them together and then in the last episode, she gets run over on her bike in the rain and dies? So deflating and disappointing. Last episode: finding out that she could never have children and breaking up, meeting up again to have a beer together, getting drunk and having sex. Next scene realizing that she was pregnant and cut to final scene with them back on Hampsted heath on a picnic blanket with their child, pan out to credits. What a beaufull ending that would have been. What were they thinking ending it this way?

The film with Anne Hathaway was a lot more then a couple of years ago lol Where in England you from, I'm in Kent 😀 The series is like 7 hours! As for books- I have tried reading things on Kindle and couldn't get into it-has to be proper books for me.
