Just to be clear, this is a collaboration between the guy that half the world’s elite musicians would describe as potentially the world’s best musician, and the guy that that guy literally described as “potentially the world’s best musician”.

Two of the best musicians on the planet on stage for public radio. For everything that is good in this world, please find funding to bring this show back.

I just searched for “Jacob Collier Chris Thile”. I had no idea that ever even met each other, let alone collaborated. but I was hoping. This is like stumbling across footage of that one time Hendrix jammed with Paganini.

Oh, and as I'm pretty sure I've done roughly once a month for the last year, I just need to shout about TED FREAKING POOR, mild-mannered agent of groove.

There used to be a live version of "Ocean Wide, Canyon Deep" by Jacob on this channel. I really loved it. Enjoyed it more than the studio version. I don't get why it got removed

No doubt it's NPR. And they aren't selling this music as intellectual property

Came here looking for a faithful Simon cover...got something completely different. Well, they flipped this song completely on its head, and I don't regret stopping by one bit. Thank you!

Thile is unarguably the best mandolin picker hands down. He can pick as many notes as all the guitar pickers in Nashville TN y'all

They should call this band the Child Prodigy Club.
