My dad was a blues guitarist and he’s the one who directed me to you , as your rendition of this song took him back to the old blues clubs of Cardiff. I grew up not with bedtime stories but bedtime songs and I have my dad to thank for that. I’ll certainly purchase the digital version for him and I hope you’ll press some vinyl as there’s nothing like that anticipation when the needle arm is lowered and believe me he deserves to hear you on vinyl! Since the 60's I have played this song by The Rooftop Singers with their heavy 12 string sounds, only because I never found another version I preferred, until I came upon your version. Fantastic!
