Originally I got sticker shock at the price. But now that I see the individual components it doesn’t seem too bad. Would appreciate when you get to Part 1 or 3!

I was shocked as well! I anticipate that I’ll get Part 3 sooner than Part 1 because my son is already midway through mastering Part 2. I don’t know expect my daughter to start Part 1 for awhile.

Got sticker shock as well! Then I saw how much content it comes with compared to the playkits for a similar price, and now I feel a little ripped off by the playkits if anything 😂 Not that the playkits are a rip off necessarily. But these sets certainly took a lot ore R&D than the play kits.

I got the early access invite and hesitated until the last minute to purchase the complete 3 parts (my girl is only 19 months) with the discount offer. I hope your video came out earlier. I always appreciate your unboxing and the review and watched every one of them. I finally made up my mind to purchase all 3 parts when I noticed from the short video from lovevery that each book is composed of real life images. My girl showed far greater interests in books with real life images and I preferred that way too. It is hard to come by books like this in the libraries or bookstores (online and offline). When it comes to price, $155 for each part vs $420 for all 3. I realized each trip to costco costs me at least one part of the set, lol. I can already tell this is a great tool to teach/learn reading, the comparison would be Bob books or the Reading Tree from Oxford Reading. Thank you again for the video!

I wanted to post it earlier as I was very excited about this product. While Lovevery isn't the sponsor/paid me for the video they did send it to me with the condition that I didn't post until they officially announced it today. I've mainly been using Bob books and so far this is a great alternative from just constantly reading books. Also the stories in these books are a bit better. Although understandably it's hard to make good stories with limited vocabulary. $420 is a lot of money, but like you I see the value of building a strong reading foundation so my children want to read books and continuously learn.

My grandson will start kindergarten next year and I was planning to get him hooks on phonics, he has all lovevery subscription boxes . I just found out about this lovevery reading kit. Kevin do you think you still might review part 1? Thanks

Will you be purchasing the other boxes? What age do you think can start part 1? Thanks

Part 1 is targeted for about Pre-K to Kindergarten age. My son just turned 5 and he’s been progressing well in Part 2 (Kindergarten to 1st grade) Once my son has mastered Part 2 we’ll move on to Part 3 which is ranged at 1st to 2nd grade.

@kevin did you help your son learn to read or he learned everything in Montessori school? My son will be starting Montessori school in August at 4, almost 5. So, we are a little behind. 😅 I was reading at age 3, so not sure what I should be doing with my son. I’m wondering if I should wait to see if he learns to read in school or if I should get part 1
@kevin-lu5 ай бұрын
My son learned some basics at school.. Once the started at school we started supplementing reading exercises at home as well. This helped him quite a bit.

Do you happen to know if the part one is similar to the Persister kit? I’m debating purchasing it for that reason!
@kevin-lu4 ай бұрын
While I haven't had a chance to see Part 1 in person from what I see online I think it has some similar things to Persister, but overall much more focus on leaning letters compared to persister. Persister is nice in that it comes with various activities, but if learning sounds and reading is the goal Part 1 would be better.

Great review! Do you think you’ll get part 1 for your daughter eventually?
@kevin-lu5 ай бұрын
I do plan to get it, but she's pretty a bit off as she's about 2 1/2 right now so she's still working on her verbal language skills.

@@kevin-lu what age do you think you will start part 1? It says pre-k, is that 3 or 4?
@Ari-ju8ry5 ай бұрын
My daughter is almost 3 and she has started to try to read on her own, and even read to her little sister. She’s starting to become aware of letter sounds, so I got it for her.
