Love your Twice album reactions! Always enjoy the obsession of Jihyo lol (btw, her name is pronounced "Gee-Hyoh," not so much "Gee-yoo" like you've been saying it. The H is not silent and the end is an "ohh" sound!). You post them so often it's so fun to listen along with you again. if you're interested, I really recommend their sister group from the same label, ITZY! They got me into kpop and I discovered Twice from them surprisingly enough. They have more experimental music but I think you guys will really appreciate their albums, there's something for everyone (they have more rap than twice too) and ITZY is basically unbeatable in terms of live performances in the fourth gen. also hope you can check out more ateez if you enjoyed the killing voice :)

Love the reaction. On prononciation (in age order) Nayeon : the na is pronounced the same as the na's in conversation. The eo in yeon is more or less like the o in the name john. Jeongyeon. Same thing with the eo's in nayeons name. If it helps its pronounced similarly to the young in chaeyoung's name. Momo: self explanatory Sana : kind of self explanatory the a's are pronounced the same as Nayeon's Jihyo: the i is pronounced like the ee in tree. No silent h. And the yo has a similar sound to the word row (the boat kind). Mina: self explanatory Dahyun: same as the na in nayeon's name. Just with a d instead of an n. The hyun is pronounced like the yeon in nayeons name too just with a h in front of it. Chaeyoung: ae sounds like ayeeeee. Then young. Tzuyu: in korean her name is pronounced chewy. In hangul (maybe seeing the repeating letters will help idk): 나연 na yeon 정연. Jeong yeon 모모 mo mo 사나 sa na 지효 ji hyo 미나 mi na 다현 da hyeon (dahyun) 채영 chae yeong (chaeyoung) 쯔위 jjeu wi/ chew wi (tzuyu) Maybe there are better ways to describe it lol. But my duolingo lessons in korean are working overtime rn. There's also TWICE SONG which they sang on some tv show in 2017 which they sing their names too if you wanna hear them say it. Alternatively, watch any interview with them where they introduce themselves. Hope this helps❤

Also might be useful to know that during the late fancy era to all of feel special, mina was on hiatus due to an extreme anxiety disorder. She came back during 2020 right before they came back with more & more. Jeongyeon, then after more & more but before i cant stop me (icsm), went on hiatus for a herniated disk (the meds for which caused her to gain weight, but it seems like intl. fans don't really know and that led to tons of hate for no reason 😒) and anxiety also. Later coming back for a bit. Then she went on a second hiatus in August 2021 do to a panic and anxiety disorder. Before coming back fully with them in Feb 2022 in time for their appearance in America during the twice III tour. This explains why some clips during these era's don't have all nine. Other absences were due to covid especially during 2020-22 and injuries(earlier on in their career, like then they went to switzerland and jihyo couldn't go because of a leg injury), and that one tzuyu was stuck in Taiwan in early 2020 due to quarantining or something(i think?).

Might as well put their nationalities here: Najeongjidachae : korean Mosami (a.k.a MiSaMo - twice's first subunit, y'all should check them out) : Japanese, with mina being Japanese American born in texas, though she left at a young age. Tzuyu: Taiwanese (One way that they refer to the whole group is with the first syllable of each of their names : NaJeongMoSaJiMiDaChaeTzu).

Twice has been together since oct 10 2015 after being formed on the survival show called sixteen. They have a bunch of Japanese mini / full albums too which you guys should check out too cuz their Japanese tracks, and Japanese tracks by kpop groups in general i feel, are quite slept on. But twice's impact on Japan is not to be overlooked, certainly does help that they have a j-line.
