That was heartwarming. ♡ I think Amy's best moments of understanding Sonic are: •A particular episode of Sonic X where she tells Sam Thorndyke that Sonic belongs to *no one*. •Sonic IDW Issue #2 where Amy loves Sonic for who he is. She can't change him, nor does she want to. I'm thankful that people dive deeper into Amy's love for Sonic. It *can* be written well, without losing Sonic's and Amy's characters in the end.

Amy Rose has impacted my life in such a way there’s no way to describe. I’ve been in love with Sonic the Hedgehog since I was a little girl, but what amazed me was the complex relationship between Sonic and Amy. I have shipped them ever since I was little and still do! But I’ve become so attached to Amy and who she is as a person; because she reminds me of me. Sometimes she can come across as too smothering and annoying, just as I can, but it only means that I truly care about you, and Amy cares for her friends, not just Sonic. She wants to people around her happy and she seems to do whatever she can to do that, which is exactly what I try to do for my friends and family. Thank you so much for this video. It honestly made me feel more connected to Amy as a character and made me love her anymore.

Here’s what I take away from Amy: We all have something we’re chasing. A goal, friendship, a place in this world after we leave the nest, the list goes on. The chase may be tough and sometimes we even ask ourselves if it’s worth the risk or if we’ll ever catch up. But because of our own motives and the people around us, we persevere and keep going. Without that drive, we won’t be chasing for very long. Great video as always, Sasso and Meghan! I’d love to see a vid from Knuckles’ prospective next! That’d be hilarious!

This was so sad and at the same time so full of hope. It was a wonderful animation with a wonderful story to tell. I know it sounds cheesy, but around a year of my life I spent it entirely in a hospital, because of an unlucky incident with my lungs. So I had to find something to pass my time. This is when I discovered Sonic and fell in love with the franchise. Gradually I learned more about the other characters and of course Amy. In the beginning she didn't stand out to me, but that changed slowly. Her powerful personality, her cheerfulness, her positivity, the emotional support she provides to her friends and her unlimited love became an inspiration for me. She isn't a complicated character, but she is pure and caring and that's what made her so important to me. For a kid that at the time had to stay in a closed room for around a year she became, although a fictional character, someone to look up to and at the same time a mental and emotional support. 5 years has passed since then but I still look out for her XD. The IDW reboot was a pleasant surprise as it revealed and emphasized on the best characteristics of her personality making her a well-written and a lovable character. As for her feelings for Sonic I think they are healthy and at the same time admirable. I love how you present her feelings for Sonic as a really important part of her, but not her only characteristic. In a QnA you said that Sonic and Amy won't end up together, but I love the hints and their interactions at your videos. You have done an amazing job of developing all of the 4 main characters' personality and backstories. Nevertheless, I believe that someone that can love someone so unconditionally and so truthfully deserves the respect that Amy has won and maybe a chance. I am sorry for the long rant, but Amy means a lot to me and I am really happy that I found a content creator that treats her so gracefully and respectfully. Once again amazing job Sasso and Megan! Keep it up.

THE FEELS. This is actually pretty swell. NICE! Sometimes I used to wonder a few of these points mentioned years ago. Odd Its now 10 years since I've been a reborn Sonic fan. I still love the skits and cross overs and craziness. I guess I'll never stop loving this series. Amy's changed though since her earlier days lol. Her personality switch kinda reminds me of this comic short I'm reading on Webtoons called "EGGNOID" This girl who is kinda clingy learns to not be super clingy like she used to be but also she learns to make new friends and maybe even a new bf from a whole different dimension ;-) I won't spoil it too much but read it on Webtoons. Now as for the next story moment..I dunno. I'll say this much. Save his entire story for the 30th anniversary here in 3 years from now lol. Wow, how dare you make me feel so much! But really, this is so stunning and paints Amy in the light she deserves. She can be written poorly sometimes, but she is truly a wonderful character. She has her flaws, but she means a lot to me. She’s this strong female who knows what she wants and has such a strong sense of justice and determination. She’s sweet and compassionate towards those she loves, willing to do anything to help and save them. When she loves, she loves for real. The part in the new IDW comics where she literally tells Sonic that she loves him exactly for who he is and how she doesn’t want him to change; that is the true Amy.
