We got together with 4 Naturalistas to ask them what they love about their hair.
The love that these ladies have for their hair permeates throughout their tresses. It stems for learning super simple hair care that has allows them the ease to show up in their natural curls. It's learning to master at least one hair style that makes them look good and feel good. It's the compliments that affirms what they have learned when it comes to their hair care that changes the way they show up in the world.

I had a client that came in today with two strand twists I did over 2 months ago. There was a lot of shed hair but her hair did not feel dehydrated. I attribute this to me having her to stop with the oils & butters.

Yes ladies I love how you have taught me about my hair even at my age. The 30 day detox, products to use and using your directory to find a stylist was the best thing I could have experienced about my CROWN. Again I wanted to congratulate these ladies and thank them for their support with us naturals. I visited a natural hair specialist (first time) that was recommended from the directory. She was outstanding and help with my hair routine by educating on how to take care of my hair, and what products I needed to use, and a beautiful haircut. Without these ladies I would not have known where to begin. I have been natural since 2020 and it’s been a journey of downs and ups which have turn to much success with my hair. Keep up the work and thanks 🙏🏾

Nice and informative video! I am in week 2 of the 30 day detox ~ Because I am not use to not having oils and butter in my hair, I think my hair is dry. I intend to stay with the process! I live in Long Beach, Ca and need to find someone that could cut my hair ~ thanks for the video!!👛👛

Hey Black girl curls .Im from kenya and it's very hard to find botanical gels So we still use like ecostyler and aunt Jackie's cause that's what we have .I shampoo every 6 -7days with a moisturizing shampoo and I alternate with a clarifying shampoo .im asking is this an okay way to do it ? Also we would love it if you came to Kenya to teach the cut it kinky class😊

I'd love to do the 30 day detox but it's scary because my hair tangles easily, but the main issue is getting products here in Jamaica in the Caribbean. I have become a member of Black Girls Curl to get involved and find more information. Can someone just give the names of some everyday brands that I can aim for.? Is Lusters S curl gel a No No?
