Low beam bulb light change BMW E65 & E66

Its not that easy to change the lights by yourself. After this video you can hopefully get some insight and knowhow to do it yourself.
You need a new light bulb and a bmw e65 / e66, a flathead screwdriver and a star screwdriver. Oh and some patience.. also take it easy since all thing that you move around costs a lot of money. Also DISCONNECT BATTERY!!!

So u dont have to take the bumper off as long as you remove 2 boxes, left one and right one, just behind the headlights in order to get the access to headlight bulbs?

Do you have to take off the bumper? Why can't you remove the air chamber behind instead?

I have loads of faults on my car. need to replace the bulbs, angel eyes, got warning lights for everything..... reverse light, safety system, airbag, you name it. Anyway, i have bought replacement lights (dipped beam and angel eyes) and i am going to buy a machine to reset the fault codes for the safety system and seat belt warning lights. My question is, I have also bought a new battery. Should I install the battery before i replace all of the other parts or should i fit the replacement bulbs etc before putting in the battery??

this model the e65 was notorius for bad wires and electrical faults when new so it comes as no surprise when they can be even worse when used... the fault codes should reset when you disconnect the battery for like 30 s so you really dont need a machine for that. the car WILL sense if the fault that caused the code is still there and give you the same code again. I sometimes think of this car as a french one (they Always has electrical problems and fault codes) and if the code or problem dont occour again after reset of battery i dont even bother ( had a bunch of those). if you have the time to hire a machine to reset codes chances are that the same one can give you the real reason for the codes! use that as you may :-) as for the battery it dont matter if you change it Before or after repairs! Thanks mate. Battery just arrived 5 mins ago so I'm going to change the angel eyes and dipped beams too

Had a wonderful day ruining the car bumper and causing more problems than I was fixing. I installed new angel eyes, they still dont work! and then realised I bought the wrong headlights. Xenon now bought and being delivered soon Mine were connected to the box as 1 unit and could not be taken apart. 1 question, can I hook my wife's mazda 3 up to my e65 to change the battery without recoding and will my wife's car need to be running while I do this. Sorry to bother you again and I promise this is my last question

I was getting out from the movies.. I notice my 750 06 headlight was out...on the driver side... So i reaplace it.. At night with out any tools.. Just my hand..i did not removed nothing ...
