Korean laver rolls are so addictive! There was a Korean restaurant (mall stall) in the Philippines who sold long laver rolls as banchan.....I miss that Korean food stall

No hate, but does none of them have common sense? Like it's oil bro, it solidifies and liquifies at a different temperature. What's so wah wah about it? Obviously anything fried will have a texture of fried food, doesn't matter if you fry it in olive oil, avocado oil, canola or coconut oil. I didn't even know Perilla oil exists before I started watching Korean shows/dramas, but i have common sense that it's an oil, it melts, could be used for frying (most don't use it for frying but it still works cause it's literally oil). Some people really need to up their game with basic common sense.

I'm sure they know in general how it all works because they watch people cook and hear explanations all the time/cook themselves. However, it's a tv show. They have to create moments that allow guests to explain even if it's repetitive or basic/common sense. Not everyone watching has possession of that knowledge and big reactions are generally what they are wanting, so a lot of ooo and ahh for extra entertainment, a bit of a cultural difference at play as well I'm sure.

@@SimplySelicia you might be right but from what I have observed in the past years (I have been watching this show since the moment it started years ago). When the show hit a 2y mark, they started bringing hosts who have little to no idea about cooking, which is fine for the most part but most of these hosts really lack knowledge in many areas where shouldn't require a genius to figure it out. Lack of common sense is really a thing,.... And since I have been watching this show for years, I kinda recognise when they hype up for exaggeration to being actually dumb.
