Low D Whistle: Five Beginner Tunes

I'm finally sharing a web page I really appreciate that gives us five whistle tunes for beginners. The tunes are from a few different styles, which helps, but are all traditional tunes that will help us learn.
The tunes are found on one of the pages from the folks at Tradschool. This is a very helpful site. Here is the link to the page with the free tunes:

I want us to learn together, and in doing this I will share whatever free resources I find that I think will help us. I have no relationship with Tradschool.
As I practice, I:
1) Listen to the tunes
2) Play them through at the rhythm of the recording
3) Practice any challenging phrases
4) Begin adding embellishments
5) Return to the page each day

Hello Andrea, does the zampogna require the piper's grip too? are you from the Abbruzzi or from Calabria? I lived four years in Rome and tried to have as much exposure to regional italian traditions as possible but for some reason at the time role was the city of jazz (which suited me fine too) un abbraccio!

@@antonvf9619 HI! I live in northern Italy, in Trentino, I have been studying "Zampogna a chiave" with my teacher since November of the last year. In Italy there are various types of bagpipes and each has its own particular fingering. The "Zampogna a chiave" for example has two fingerable chanters (some modified ones have three) with the right hand you play the melody, with the left you play the accompaniment. Un abbraccio a te 😊
