basically, camels no longer take bonus damage from anti-ship stuff but ships generally still take bonus damage from anti-camel stuff because reasons (those units now also do bonus damage against ships) Well, I mean, it's kinda funny when a horde of camels in the shallows casually massacres a bunch of galleons 11

Ships were never "classified as Camels," T90. Camels were classified as Ships. This was the case in AOK and Conquerors, but was changed in later versions, like the HD edition. So basically, since Camels were classified as Ships, heated shot affected Camels in the original game and expansion.

what these people mostly struggle with is either using attack move OR patrol, Red and Blue didn't seem to use any of those and just rightclick the ground or one unit and their units are just walking and getting shot at.

I assumed the bonus on crossbows is because Genoa had a good sized navy, and a law that required a certain number of crossbowmen on galleys. But yea it makes more sense that it is just a remnant from camels being ships. Now it is a coincidental nod at their naval origins.

Fire Galleys being on the second page confused me when I first started playing! It's bad design. It's the ONLY thing on the second page. I didn't even know there was a second page for the dock at first. What other structures have more than one page? (im pretty sure only dock has 2 pages) Either put all war ships on second page or just don't have a second page.

They should just move trade cogs to the second page. Trade cogs almost never get created so it's perfectly fine in my opinion if they get relegated to the second page. Water maps are rare enough, much less team water maps.

How was it bad game design? When I first ever played age of empires, I tried out all the buttons and read the hover over info to get info and stuff. So I obviously also clicked the arrow key which took me to the 2nd page. So I'd argue that you never actually tried to see what the game has to offer and what all the buttons do. Your curiosity never got piqued unlike mine.

I have been going through as Byzantines on the hardest difficulty, standard resources, black forest, and beating the AI against every civ. I can beat them all with a tower rush, but I want to get good at beating them if they are allowed to build up. Most I beat easily, but I could not beat Italians except for with a tower rush, and even that was difficult. So Italians are pretty tough. Don't know how they are on a water map though.

It would be worth a shot, it is not, high effort video, and it doesn't need to be 100% about AoE, but like idk 25%-40% about AoE and rest something about interviewee, you know, life goals, what is he up to, and such.

Blue missed a perfect spot for a dock on front side of his island. It could be well proteckted by towers and a castle. That was a misstake. Blue schuld even have used demolitian chips if that was possible to attack reds massive ship armada.

Fire and Demos: Been playing for a couple weeks now.....I totally had NO IDEA there was a second page to the docks!!!!! I always play with Celts I just assumed I couldn't make demos and fire ships. I don't think ships were ever classified as camels, but instead camels took bonus damage from towers (Same as ships) because camels are this ''ships of the desert''. Thus Camels were in some strange way classified as ships.

Should create a new map called the hot gates. Split the map with a mountains and have a pass in the middle. Both sides would have equal and ample resources, it would be a good test for players and a good spectacle for viewers

What I dislike about AoE 4 is the Arrows. They home in on enemys. Now ay to dodge it. Which I really dislike. They could have solved this movement through trees with special early game units - Empire of Earth has some that are allowed to move through trees.

I think with AOE4 they probably didn't want iffy press. I feel like T90 would just speak his mind about what it was rather than hyping it up, and they might have been afraid he'd be like "this feels like shit, this needs more work."

while I would love to bash them for being dishonest, it's not exactly that. T90 has great coverage of AoE, but they're not looking to win over AoE players because they'll try the game anyway(while some of us won't touch it with a 10 foot pole). They're more looking to attract those that never tried AoE, and the best way is to let big-ish twitch names in on the beta test.
