For a sport that appears so simple, thank you for discussing the complexities. How to counter properly is something I'm currently trying to learn, great job TableMonkeys.

I think you guys might be doing the best technical explanations right now, at least for beginners Even focusing on stuff like feet and elbow position before moves helps me feel like i’m building on a foundation Please keep making content!

Damn you guys actually explain shit in simple terms, top quality training. A lot of other youtubers that give training videos speak in riddles when explaining techniques and it's quite annoying, but you guys are simply straight the the point and show examples. Great stuff!!!

I have a decent low-hand top roll for a beginner, and I love it because most people don't know what to do against it!

For me, the low hand works much better if I start with my riser. On go, I chop-drag and pronate-up-side simultaneously. Go through the hand with the hand, but you can’t fire a gun without cocking it (starting with your riser intact). I found it helpful to pattern this by drag/chopping while gripping a belt coming out under my pinky while up/side/pronating around a belt wrapped around my thumb. You can do it with more back pressure or side pressure or combination through the thumb-pronation vector. Hopefully that helps someone someday somehow? . . .

Good breakdown but I feel like you guys over complicated the explanation of this in some ways. To me the low-hand toproll is the same rise-cup-roll sequence of the posting toproll, except you’re rising through the bottom of your hand rather than your knuckle. “High bottom” like Devon says. You’re not giving up the posting/height game, you’re just playing it with a different part of your hand.
