Low HCG Betas + Progesterone- Could I be Miscarrying?

My HCG and progesterone came back way lower than I expected and just the results just didn't make sense. It looked like I was miscarrying again.

After following my labs with my first miscarriage, I never did it again. Made me so anxious waiting for the results only to end in heartache anyway. I ended up having 5 miscarriages total. (We have 4 living lovies) but just could not do the whole lab draw thing. SO happy for your family!! 💜 Also, love the way you did this video series so that we could follow along but you had time to process everything on your own.

I am so over it all... I am 6 weeks and having another miscarriage!!! 2 back to back. My daughter is 5.5 months yay!!! I am 40 and wondering if it's time to call it quits... my body is exhausted, and my soul just aches. How many miscarriages can a woman have in a lifetime?!?!

We miscarried at the same time then I miscarried again. I just had my first ever Ultrasound yesterday and baby beans measuring perfectly. I'm so happy rainbow babies are strong babies

When I called the doctor to tell them I got a positive pregnancy test they offered the option for me to come in to get my hcg blood work. I ended up declining because I was the sole caretaker for my mom after she had just broken her leg pretty severely. I’m glad it wasn’t something I was able to do because ultimately I think it would have just messed with my head. Instead I just tested all the time, and that helped me feel ok. I totally get why you did though. I’m very much a data person, so I would have had numbers flying all over my head and I didn’t want to stress given that it is my first pregnancy. We are due right around the same time, and I’m looking forward to seeing your videos as we progress together 🥰

My HCG was 24 yesterday (Monday) based on my last period I should be 4 weeks. I don’t have any increase in symptoms and I redraw tomorrow (Wednesday), trying to pray and hope for the best but I am just so damn sad.

See about taking progesterone. It saved my baby. (& God) I’m now 16 weeks. If you have a history of miscarriage or chemical pregnancy it can totally be a lack of progesterone production 💗💗🙏🏼

my digital was positive at 3 weeks 5 day and when I was 4 weeks 2 days I had an hcg and I was only at 14. I'm currently 19 weeks 2 days now

I had a missed miscarriage at 5w 3d didn't actually miscarry till 9w 2d. At 8w they did a hgc test and it was over 5,000 and 2 days later it was over 8,000 😑

I tested with clearblue line test and digital, both positive at 10DPO HCG was 15 that morning! clearblue is sensitive!!

I don’t know if those numbers mean much. I’ve had three miscarriages myself and my second one my numbers were fabulous… they couldn’t tell me why I lost the baby with “such great numbers”

It is so crazy to me that they can do sooo much now that they didn't when I has my baby. I literally took a pregnancy test when I was a week late, it was positive, and since I already had an OB-GYN appt 3 weeks later, I went then. They did a trans-vaginal ultrasound and I believe I was 6½ weeks pregnant. And that was it. Started going to the doctor once a month until 32 weeks, then every 2 weeks until 36 weeks, then every week. Had several ultrasounds, especially when I went overdue. Had her at 42 weeks.

I feel the exact same way about labs. Miscarriages and diagnoses. Also bad bad bad, traumatic pregnancy. Almost my baby and then had fatally low electrolytes, so we both almost died. I get it, girl. So thrilled for you.

So happy for you and your family 😊 we’re also expecting again after 5 miscarriages and in a row 😔 feeing blessed but the anxiety is so real we already have 3 healthy crazy babies 17yrs 14yrs and 4yrs we thought we were done at our second as we had one of each, so we opted for a vasectomy 😂 10 years later and one vasectomy reversal we had our third crazy baby 🤣 we’re hoping for a sticky baby this time I’m only 5wks 5 days fingers crossed 🤞 xx

It happens more often than women realize that they get pregnant and lose the baby prior to 6 weeks, never noticing they have even lost a pregnancy. Many women just do not have regular periods. With you tracking so heavily, you are seeing more results quicker.

I got a positive at 10 or 11 dpo. But that was 2 days ago, since then I've only gotten negatives. Im 2 days away from my period...not sure how to feel. I let myself get excited and after 5 years ttc and one miscarriage i should have known better

I always got gushes of cm through out my second pregnancy. I would rush to the restroom in the beginning and would think I was miscarrying eventually I just got use to it. Glad all seems well! keep your mind busy to help ease your worries. I know easier said then done lol I’ll keep you in my 🙏🏻 ❤️

The doctor order a quantitative test to have a number for HCG instead of negative or positive since Lexi has miscarried.

Is it typical to get these blood tests in the US? Do you pay for them? Just curious as we don’t get anything like this in the UK, not as standard anyway. We have bloods taken around 10-12 weeks, but that’s for things like Iron levels not hormones
