Single pilot IFR into KLVK. ATIS has bases at 600 MSL (right at minimums). Ended up being a few hundred above, but still a great approach in solid IMC.

Really nice approach and landing. Inspiring for me, when I get back into aviation, to work towards instrument. I also really liked the self-talk. Not sure if you always do that, or if this is just for instruction, but I know it works really well.

I (Zach) almost always do that when I am on an approach, especially in IMC. Keeps me focused on the important items and continuing the proper scan. Good luck if/when you do your instrument training!

Do you normally report passing the FAF? Maybe I missed it.

The FAF was at Glidepath intercept. I did not audibly call it out. On other non-precision approaches (LOC, VOR, etc) I will call it out. Thanks for watching!

Hmmm, didn't feel nervous while doing it. Just very aware of the plane and position. Thanks for watching!!

I got that feeling as well. I don't think I've said "on course" or "on path" that many times in my entire life, forget about every 3 seconds on one approach. but good video, was fun to watch. also, were you on course or on path by any chance? :)

@@h2oski1200 Was definitely on course and on path. Nailed it. ;)
