Hello I have purchased the transmitter, after I plug in the transmitter with my tv through optical wire, the OPT letter shines on the transmitter (I think it means not connected), is there anyway to fix it? Thx

If it's blinking, you probably need to change your TV sound settings. Make sure that Output is set to "Optical" and that format is set to "PCM".

If you're trying to hear audio from the TV and your Bluetooth headphones at the same time, then yes. If you only need audio to your Bluetooth headphones, then no.

Cannot connect both headphones buy just turning them on, have to push the sync button on one of them to connect after the other one connects (this is after they have been synced) Is this normal? Also how can I get tv sound on after turning off headphones without turning off transmitter ?

First question: Unfortunately that is normal. Second question: You have to go into your TV's sound settings and switch from headphones to TV speaker.

I just bought one. Not great results. It seems optimised to work with low latency headphones only. I use two Bose QC45 headphones with my projector, and theres a noticeable lag. Also, it doesn’t pair to my wireless speakers very well. I have two, Creative Stage Air V2 mobile bluetooth speakers, and can only pair to one at a time, and play sound. The other is intermittent sound, then the signal eventually drops out. Tried everything to remedy, but just wont work reliably. Also, if the Avantree Audikast is positioned too close to my projector, it creates interference with the projectors WI-FI, and its connection to the internet is lost. Also, I’d recommend only using the fibre optic input, as it will reduce the latency, and also the audio is very quiet, when the 3.5mm jack input is used. All together, a disappointing experience, for my projector set up. If you only want it for headphones, and you have the low latency type, then its good. For everything else, its just not good.

@@Avantree Update: Just tried my new UGREEN 70304 bluetooth receivers, plugged into my bluetooth speakers. Works perfectly with both speakers. The problem was the native bluetooth system in my Creative Stage Air V2 mobile speakers was crap! Its too slow. I switched off the speakers bluetooth, and plugged the new UGREEN receiver into the 3.5mm input on the speaker. Synced with the Audikast with zero issues, and works on both channels. No latency issues with my projector either. PERFECT!!!!

No unfortunately you can't. The audikast does not have a manually switch to switch between the two input sources.

Hi there! Do your Bluetooth headphones support aptX Low Latency? If they don't specifically say it supports low latency, then the headphones and receiver will automatically default to the next highest quality supported.

Hello. Both your PS4 and your Fire Cube connects to your TV, so I'd say Audikast/Audikast Plus would be much better than Leaf already. Leaf only works with something that has audio output through USB port, and in your case only PS4 has that function... whereas if you connect Audikast to your LG TV, you'll have audio no matter which one you're using...

@@Avantree Thank you! I had assumed a high end Oled TV supported it and was leaning towards the leaf. I just purchased Sony's WH-1000XM3 and I am reading that while they support the other aptx bluetooth codecs they don't support aptx Low Latency. My headphones have yet to arrive so I have not had a chance to play with them. If I do find the lag noticeable will buying a aptx LL receiver that connects to headphone jack fix that?

Only the first time. After that, they should automatically reconnect. Though the reconnecting process may become a little slower if you connect your headphone to something else in between use with this transmitter.

Hi. Well, we do have product that can "Bluetooth-enable" any headphone that has a 3.5mm jack, it's called AS70. But I think you're better off returning this headset and purchase a Bluetooth one that supports aptX-Low Latency...

Some TVs allow independent volume control, that lets you mute/unmute your TV without affecting the headphone. Check with your TV manufacturer to see if your TV supports that.

Hello, we rarely get complaints regarding sound quality (see our Amazon reviews,) so it should be all good. As for volume control, if your headphone has built-in volume control, you should be able to use that; if not, we'd recommend going with Audikast Plus instead, it has a built-in volume control for use :)

BT headphone and BT speaker are indistinguishable to the BT TX (host). Only thing you need ensure two device to be paired stays as close as possible. Because the TX only pair with the one who closest to the TX. This is unlike your phone, which can list the all BT accessories it can see and let you make choice. But the "TX" is dumb device, it just pickup the strongest one, which the vendor shy to reveal how the dumb TX make decision. BT tech is created for one host to many accessories. Now the BT tech even allow the host to comm. with many same time, which was not allow before.

Laptops usually do support audio through USB, you can give it a try. But if it doesn't work, yes, you'll have to plug two wires in for it to work... in your case, USB for power and optical for audio. Avantree Support
