As someone who 65% of the time fights out of a southpaw stance this video has alot of use, however I'd like to add. Condition the open side body kick and kick the back leg alot . This conditions them to defend that side rather then the inside of the lead leg. GOOD work coach much luv

Cool, but what happens when he checks your kick and your shin hits his knee?

It hurts your shin, and doesnt really hurt his knee. I have been on both sides of this. Best way to avoid it is to set up the kick with punches or feints, ideally to get the opponent to be heavy on the target leg. Cutting an angle prior to kicking also can help mitigate getting knee checked.

I keep relying on switch low kicks because of low travel time to his lead leg whenever i throw rear low kicks it takes so much time and space. Thanks for coach!
