I find the fish straps have to be "sunk" a little so they're partially under the riverbed (hold down shift and scroll your mouse wheel down once or twice) and I've been able to place fish traps in any water like that. Probably just a bug but have the issue on EL map too, sometimes.

With you on the loot tables. I spent about twenty minutes (twenty long, long minutes) killing a bear world boss and it didn't even drop a key: just the usual meat and hides and bits and pieces that you get everywhere. It should feel like an achievement, but it just felt like a waste of time.

Shhhh I don't want to have to grind fuel another thing. Funcom the fire bowl cauldron uses alchemy to produce products used for forging and smelting. It always requires a basic furnace to make, so we can just pretend that it uses a little coke from the furnace. Maybe that, or buff item durability and encumbrance; slight dial back the grind; just a tad.

Woohoo! :D This is our layshrine! You can set a wheel in front of that watchtower that you saw many times south of the layshrine, that's where our main base is.

I've managed to solo farm the blue meanie in x'cholt for gear with stone weapons at lvl 13, took two maces, two shields. After that you can farm serpent vaults for weapons. The wichdoc mask really helps with lvl building to

Get a playful puppy. Give it exquisite meat. Level it up to 10. Solo ANYTHING other than the 3-skull rocknose boss

Place a couple of standing torches by your fish traps. Helps you find them easily and should help you see them more easily, too. Followers getting stuck on vault walls is horrible. Takes them FOREVER to get unstuck. Would be nice to have an option to just pick and move them (remain on follow) in the radial menu without the "Thralls are not allowed here" crap.

Ohhh, been wanting/waiting for you or FireSpark or Wak to do this vault early and loot the skellies for their hardened steel weapons. That would be a great early start, right? Imagine having a hardened steel axe, daggers (did you loot those?), shield, bow and arrows before facing the end boss. But I didn't see you loot any of the skellies. LOL At least I know it's possible.

I'm sorry, I can't watch this - Siptah is so stupidly dark, and combine that with youtube darkening things, I can't see anything. Hopefully stopping watching part way through doesn't count as a negative against the channel. I've left a comment and a like to 'feed the algorithm' - hopefully that balances out as a net positive...
