Why are they phasing out jersey cards? It's one of my favorite things about nhl cards. Getting a piece of a jersey that a player used in a actually game is cool and it doesn't cost you a fortune like young guns and autograph cards!

Why is UD phasing out relic cards? Something to do with Fanatics getting the jersey deal and their acquisition of Topps? It feels like the hobby is reverting back to their model of of the 90's. Mass producing millions of packs and considering a non-auto, non-relic, non-numbered insert card a "hit." It really makes ripping packs look more and more unappealing.
