Low Oil Fail! KONE Hydraulic Elevators at Rockville Town Square Garage A, Rockville MD

This is what my local Macy's elevator did back in July. I was not inside the elevator, but I was inside the mall & returned 15 minutes after riding it low on oil. Upon returning, it had stalled!! The doors stayed three quarters of the way open & the fan somehow turned itself on. The car was also over 5 inches below the floor due to pre-door. This is KONE's way of preventing the pump from burning out which is pretty smart, but also increases downtime if the pump is faulty...

must be a bit sensitive, cuz I think the typical code is after about 30 seconds of leveling, to return the elevator to the lowest (or terminal) floor
