Once you make the polygon with a selection tool, go to Filter... Blur... Average. It will automatically fill in the section with the "average" colour in your polygon

it depends on what size your triangles are.... like i drew a lot smaller traiangle and it took me 4 days around 5-6 hours each day

That is flat shading, not necesarily low poly
