And this is why Hoshizaki is my favorite ice maker. I've worked on a few R22 old timers , still operating like day one 🤔😐

We actually still use that exact ice maker, except ours doesn't have a remote condenser. The grid is lose on ours, and the bin level switch is toast. But it plugs along day in and day out making ice daily.

Clean and clear, good looking cubes there Dave. I still order my pop in a can or bottle if they have it, just dont trust any ice machines these days.

I've read on a lot of the coils installation manuals that coil cleaner should never be used...I've been steering clear lately due to company policy....any thoughts on that...unusually go with the viper food safe stuff in the can...works great
@NorCal-refrigeration7 жыл бұрын
HVAC/R DUDE no coil cleaner on micro channel coils. I use the Home Depot stuff in the can👍

any ice machine thats more than 7 yrs old...first thing i check is the evaporator plates to make sure they are not separated...if it is...no need to go further...time for a new machine then...especially those R22 units

Great video man always a pleasure to watch and learn! That ice maker was nasty to the “T” lol. Can’t believe they would not install a water filter as well. Although you did a great job man that Ice looked crystal clear. Keep up the great work. By the way do you have a full time job aside from your company?
@NorCal-refrigeration7 жыл бұрын
