I highly recommend the Bung King crash bars.. Also the bassani Supebike exhaust sings beautifully.. imma be putting in an order on that radiator guard tho.. Already got dings in my fins from rocks

Great video!! You put everything that should have come standard with this bike. Considering the price tag!! Also ST should come with the gauge of the new Sportster. But if people are paying who am I to talk what HD should do! : ) The bike is awesome. I have a S and looking for a ST full of upgrades once the money not be problem.....hehehehe

Hey buddy! No sir. No extensions were needed for the 6.5 risers, but I have been told that any higher up and they would have to extend some of the cables and that would be an additional cost for install. Great question and thank you for watching!

I just traded up to the '23 Lowrider ST in the pearl white. Such an amazing machine. I fall more in love with it everyday that I ride it. I really like how your bike is coming together with all the accessories and mods. I've been playing around with the idea of going up in height with some risers for myself. How are those 6.5" feeling for you? I'm 5'9" and I feel like the stock ones are okay so I don't know if it'd be worth it to raise them just a couple inches for that price point. Did you have to get cable extenders for those risers?

Great thing about Harley Davidson, you can find a lot of almost new and save about 70% , just be patient and someone is selling or trading in there near new bike and have a bunch of new parts for cheap , but man where do I find ??? Flo brake levers and heated grips like yours for a great deal ? Nice 👍

Hey Anthony! Good question. My local dealership charged me about $250 - $300 for the install if I remember right. It was well worth the money because there is NO WAY that I could have done the work myself. Thank you very much for watching!!

Hey Ty, I actually do have a couple of questions regarding your riser and bag. I purchased the same riser from thrashin, and it’s sitting in the garage awaiting install. I was wondering if you changed the riser bushings to polyurethane, and if so… did you have to go with longer riser bolts? I ran into an issue when changing out my RK bars and bushings to where I couldn’t get the OEM bolts to start threading because of the stiffness of the bushings. Ended up going with longer riser bolts from the dealership. No big deal, but I like to plan ahead before ripping stuff apart. Lastly, does the bag rub on the tank at all when turning the handlebars? Thanks for your time.

Hey sir. Great question and I will help you as much as I can. Please keep in mind my local dealership did the install so I may not have some of my facts straight. I did have to buy new riser bushings, but I did not need any longer riser bolts. Someone told me at my local dealership that any higher than the 6.5 risers would need cable extensions and I think the longer rise bolts will push you up to the point where you need those extenders. After reading your comment about the bag I step out to the garage and gave it a test. The bag only touches the tank when turning sharp right or left. Other than that I don't see any issue. @@TyFromTennessee perfect! Thanks for the response. I am debating on which bag to go with, the smaller vs the larger one like you have. I like the idea of the fleece lined sunglasses pocket, but not crazy about the idea of tank rub. Maybe I’ll reconsider since you said it only touches when turned full left or right. I have to go in and out of gates that require an ID check, and I could certainly use a place to keep my ID secure yet easily accessible. Fishing for a wallet is no bueno. Thanks again!

@@TyFromTennessee But I think what you chose was money well spent. I'd say keep the slip ons, because they look good. Knowing when to stop spending is up to the individual. Making good choices is what's important ... you buy once, you cry once ... and hopefully it's for keeps :)

How do you like the OG mini floorboards for control during more aggressive riding vs the stock pegs? Did you have to adjust the brake pedal and the shifter for the new foot position with the OG minis?

Did the 6.5 risers require you to buy cable extensions or did the stock cables reach?

My local dealership mentioned to me that the 6.5 does not require any cable extensions, but if you go above and beyond that you will need to. I really love the current configuration of the bars. Very comfortable. Thanks for watching today!
